The door to Park Jimin's apartment opened to reveal "Happy birthday!" banners and balloons with no Jimin in sight. Hoseok immediately zeroed in on the couple cuddling on the couch.

"Kim Taehyung," he scolded, "you didn't tell me that it was a birthday party! Yoongi doesn't have a present!" The brunettes head popped up over the arm of the couch with a lipstick smeared box-smile.

"Oops," he laughed. "I'll just drive him to the mall before everyone gets here and help him pick one out!"

After lots of whinning and "I love you"s from Jungkook, Taehyung was finally able to lead Yoongi to his car, a simple blue minivan.

"Not the type of car I expected," Yoongi commented as they pulled out of the parking lot. Taehyung smiled at him before refocusing on the road.

"We both really want a sports car," he laughed, "but, we both want kids so... the sports car was a no."

"That's awesome," Yoongi murmured, "that you guys found each other and both want that. How long have you been together?"

"About five years, officially, but you'd think it was longer with the way we always acted." Soemthing about his voice or the look in his eyes made Yoongi a little sad but also incredibly happy. Kim Taehyung was so undeniably in love that the overpowering joy was contagious.

"Are you going to get married?"

"I-I've thought about it. I want to but I don't know how. I want it to be perfect, you know?" No, I don't, Yoongi thought. But I think I might someday soon.

"I don't know what that's like yet but you can tell me," Yoongi offered.

For the rest of the car ride, Taehyung told stories and made cheesy metaphors; and Yoongi was more than happy to listen, unaware of the person lingering in the back of his mind as thoughts of wedding days and little kids with his last name.
