Chapter 19

When Yoongi pulled into the parking lot, he had to just sit there for a moment, keys in the ignition still, not ready for the night to end.

Jimin still rested against his shoulder and Yoongi's heart sunk a little at the thought of having to wake him, briefly considered trying to carry him, before he finally pulled the keys out and pocketed them.

The disgruntled noise that Jimin made when he was moved to lean against his door sent warmth blooming through Yoongi's chest.

Shivering against the night air, Yoongi slid off his jacket and opened the passenger door, careful to not let Jimin fall as he unbuckled him and wrapped it around the boys shoulders. Flushing bright red when Jimin snuggled into his chest, he gently shook him, trying to coax him awake.

"Come on, Jimin, wake up. I can't carry you up all those stairs."

"Can't you at least try?" was the grumbled response he got as Jimin slid out of the car and slumped against Yoongi, who let out a mix between a grunt and a laugh at the sudden weight.

"You just gotta stay upright and i'll do most of the work, promise." Jimin hummed in reply, shuffling his feet forward, head still buried in Yoongi's neck.

After a few times bumping into walls, they finally made it to the apartment, with Jimin somehow cuddled against his chest and shuffling backwards rather than tucked against his side.

"Where's your keys?"

Something about his pocket was mumbled into his shirt and Yoongi bit his lip in hesitancy. Which one?

Carefully lifting the back of Jimin's shirt, Yoongi checked his back pockets. He barely managed to fish out the keys without actually touching Jimin and he couldn't help letting out a sigh of relief as he unlocked the door.

He had not expected to find a very motherly looking Jungkook sitting on the couch, watching the door. The look he was getting was curious, if not a little overprotective. It made Yoongi nervous.
