Ch. 6- Not Until Your Ready

"Okay ready to go?" I ask looking at everyone sitting around in the beach house.

"Yep come on guys" Alex says smiling.

"Yes Kristy will you and Charlotte help me find crabs?" Jack asks eggar.

"Sure" she says laughing.

"Lets go guys" I say half way out of the house. It was a short walk to the beach from the house we had rented.

"So why did you want to come to the beach again?" I ask looking at Alex as we stepped onto the warm sand.

"I don't really know I just really love it" he says still smiling.

"Okay Lex whats up?"

"What do you mean?"

"You wont stop smiling. Your never like this. What did Lisa say to you?"

"Nothing i'm just in a really good mood" he says smirking now.

"Really thats why your all smiles today? Your such a goof ball" I say still slightly suspicous. He is my best friend and I am sure he is covering something up. We set up the chairs and blankets, then we all took off our cover ups and sat in our bathing suites. It wasnt long before Kristy and I left the boys to head down towards the water.

"Its going to be so cold" Kristy says as we get closer.

"I know but it will be worth it trust me" I say smiling as we finally reach the water. As soon as we did a huge wave crashed onto our legs and feet. Well huge for the shore. Kristy and I both let out piercing shreiks and jumped back as it crashed against our skin. Both boys were laughing hysterically at us. We ran the whole way back to them.

"Water a little to cold?" Alex asks trying to hold back his laughter.

"Just a little" I say smirking at him.

"Come sit with us then" he says with a devilish grin.

"Okay" Kristy says sitting on Jacks lap. Jack had the same look on his face as Alex.

"Kristy its a trap" I try to mouth to her.

"What? Wait no don't you dare Barakat" she says as Jack gets up and throws her over his shoulders. Wow she must be light if Jack can pick her up.

"Dont even think about it Gaskarth" I say before taking off running. I ran to the board walk and hide in one of the shops.

"Hey what are you doing?" A cute guy asks me.

"Oh um just hiding from someone" I say and run to the back before Alex comes in.

"Well i'm Brian so heres my number" he says writing it on my arm before stepping back so Alex can run up and grab me.

"There you are" he says smiling.

"No way Gaskank" I say and try to run but he had already grabbed my hips.

"No way your Alex Gaskarth" Brian says excited.

"Umm Hi" Alex says awkwardly while now having his arms wrapped around my waist from behinde.

"Can I have your autograph?" Brian asks still excited and a little bite creepy.

"Sure, whats your name?" Alex asks taking his sharpie. The same sharpie he used to write his number on my arm.

"His name is Brian. I have his number if your lookin to get lucky Gaskank" I say laughing as he signs Brians arm and then turns around creepily towards me.

"Aww I was looking to get lucky with someone else" he says winking at me. I blushed but jumped on his back to hide it.

"Oh so now your going to follow the masters disires?" he asks as I slide off his back.

"What the hell? no just no Lex" I say laughing.

"Can you just please come with me?" he asks like a 5 year old.

"Fine but i wont be happy about it" I say slightly pouting.

"Good" he says as he lefts me up and flings my over his shoulder like Jack did to Kristy.

"Hey I never said you could do that"

"You never said I couldnt" he said as he jogged over to the water.

"Hey look who finally caught her" Kristy says laughing.

"I know right I found her getting some random guys number. young lady do you understand how dangerous that is he could have raped you" Alex says in a mothering tone.

"She would have liked it" Kristy says smiling.

"Oh yeah you got that right" I say smiling but of coarse I was still over Alex's shoulder so they couldnt see me.

"How do you like the view of my ass?" Alex asks.

"My eyes they burn" I say laughing.

"Oh you are so going in now" he says and before I can asks what he was going to do he flips me over his shoulder and thrown into the freezing cold ocean. The last thing I heard before the splash was my piercing scream and everyones laughter. My head bobbed up to everyone still laughing.

"Get your ass in here Gaskarth" I yell as he starts to bolt off and I follow close behinde. I was just about to catch him when he whipped around with his arms open. I was about to stop but it was no use I was already pulled into a huge hug and then picked up.

"No bad Alex! Let me go" I say still with my arms wrapped around him.

"If you want me to let you go then why are you still holding onto me?" He asks with a smug grin.

"I dont know" I say smirking. I had just let go when he lifted my eyes to his. His eyes are so beautiful. 'What is he doing?' I ask myself because next thing I know his lips are centimeters from mine when suddenly his lips were on mine. I was kissing Alex and it was amazing. I have never felt like that before it was like my heart was racing and we were the only two people in the world. It felt right and so great. Suddenly it got more passionate and deep. It felt more surprised and excited. Then something popped into my head so I pulled away.

"Alex" I say as our faces pull apart.

"Yeah" he says his eyes full with amusment.

"We cant we cant do this" I say looking down.

"Why not?" he asks sounding upset.

"Lisa" I say and he instantly takes a step back.

"Oh thats right" he says sounding.... depressed? yeah depressed.

"You know if you would be okay with it I will break up with her."

"Alex I dont want you to have to do that for me. If you still like her than be with her. If that fails then there can be and us" I say depressed a little but trying to sound okay with it.
