Were my demons hide

Katelyn's POV:

"Hey Katelyn." Dante greeted as he opened the door, "What're you doing here?"

I pushed past him and ran up his dirty stairs. I knew what room was Travis' because we'd hung out in there before. I entered it and clicked the door shut. I scanned the room but saw no sign of him.

Travis' POV:

This was taking too long! I couldn't do it. When ever I got the chance to try and escape I was allways too weak to.

Katelyn should have given up on waiting for me by the time I gave in to my power's demands. I let my skin cave and my eyes glow. It only took a second after that. A loud band and a scream of rage from the man who took me; to appear back in my home.

It had been so long since I'd last done that. I was so tired. however, a voice from behind me interupted my heavy breathing. I spun around to see,

"Katelyn?"

She sat there, on my bed. She looked so startled, which was understandable.

I blinked and the illusion went back up.

"What just happened?" She asked quivering slightlty,

"Uh..... I....." My eyes burned but in a different way. The tears where too big for them to not sting.

She took one of my chairs and placed it behind the other. She sat on one an myself on the other.

"You don't have to tell me face to face." She whispered.

"Ok..." I took a deep breath, "I guess I'll start by saying: I'm not human, I'm a demon."

I heard Katelyn gasp a little. She asked me to continue,

"And I was found out yesterday."

"How?" She asked,

"I had no heartbeat." I sighed,

"What's going to happen now?"

"I have to go home," I choked on the words, "To to demon relm."

"But what about everyone here? What about me?" She sniffed,

We looked into each others hearts but found no answer to the problem. She helped me pack a few of my things into a backpack and I opened the portal to my dimension.

"I'll come back one day..." I decided,

"That as good as you are." She whispered.

Katelyn's POV:

I bite my lip, I had to ask him now. If I didn't, he'd never know.

"Will you visit you're daughter?" I asked,

"What?" He staired at me in shock,

"And... will you go on the third date with me?"

He gave a sad smile and kissed my lips. When we broke away, I could see his eyes staring to glow a dark purple. He waved as he backed into the portal and as soon as he appered, he left.

I held my heart as The portal stared to close. I could've easily ran in after him but for once I was too scared to.
