Mall Mision

Lucinda's POV:

I watched Katelyn playing with the kittens on the floor as I slowly stirred the potion. I galnced down at the recipe that I was following and relised that I was missing the Well flower.

"Katelyn, could you get a well flower from the ingeredients draw?" I asked as the potion turned green.

She walked over to the draw and looked for a few seconds.

"Sorry, There isn't any." She reported back to me,

"Quickly, run to the mall and get one!" I worriedly ordered, "If I don't put it in before the potion turns black, It'll be a failure again!"

"Ok, I'll be quick." She grabbed her money and put on her helmet,

"You only have an hour so hurry."

Katelyn's POV:

I jumped onto my motor bike and zipped down the street. A well flower is a common potion ingredient so Lucinda often goes to the flower shop in the mall to buy some.

I parked up and checked the time. 45 Minuets left.

I ran.

Through M&S, the under roof mini market, over a sales booth and finnaly, the flower shop. I grab a couple of Well flowers and checked out. 37 Minuets left.

Sprinting back throught the crowd, I feel like I'm on a car race game. jumping out of the way of people. Squeezing through large groups. I bump into one person. An orange haired Mif'wa.

"OMI, So sorry!"

"No it's ok. Wait, Katelyn?" I relised who it was, Kai from high school.

"Oh, Kai! Nice to see you! So, sorry I'm in a rush bye!"

I kept running. Onto my bike, and went 1 mph more then the speed limit and made it home with 13 minuets to spare.

Ran into the kitchen and shakenly handed the flowers to Lucinda.

"Thank you Katelyn! Now this truth telling potion can be completed."

"Truth telling potion? How can you tell if Ava is telling the truth if she talks in meaws?"

"Yeah, sorry, this is one I have to test on you."

I fainted.

Lucinda's POV:

Perfect. I lay her on the couch and finnished the potion. You see, what you do is get a sleeping person and put a drop of potion between their eyes. You then whisper a question in their ear and cast a dream visualiser spell to see the answer.

I dropped the potion in it's place and let it run onto her left eyelid. I then whispered my question and cast the spell.

A cream coloured cloud formed above her head. I saw a calender, Valentines day. A scene unfolded. Katelyn was being dared to drink more and more until she couldn't comprehend what was going on. The same, I saw, had happened to Travis. He drunkenly walked kissed her and then the dream cut out.

I whispered annother question but the cloud remained blank. I gave up. I'd allready seen enough.
