The final curtain call

Katelyn's POV:

I took a deep breath and thought. Each step that I took forward sparked a memory. The first time I met him, when he was sent to the hospital, the fear in his eyes when he found me in his room, the pain we went through when saying goodbye, when mylissa anounced that i'd won the first round, the joy I felt when I won the hole show and he finnaly came back.

I exhaled, trightening my grip.

"Hello. My name's Katelyn," I smiled, "And this is the finnal time I'll sing for you all. But before I start, I want to thank my friends Zane and Kawaii-Chan for writing this song for me."

I waved at the couple as KC Jumped up and down, smiling and waving back.

The audience cheered as the backing track started to play.

I held my pose for a few seconds before taking a small bow.

"Thank you!" I smiled, "And now, a special announcement!"

The crowd quietened, allowing my to speek,

"This book is ending. But don't frear! The ruby truth series shall return in the form of Garrance. The first 5-10 chapters will be posted in a few weeks time."

The readers sighed at the self promotion.

"Ok but really," I giggled, "Thank you all so much for your support, I never would have made it this far if you all hadn't been there for me."

The crowd gave one last cheer as I exited the stage. But not too long later, my friends came rushing in.

Yes; the past is far behind us but the future is today.
