Astrid and Heather play ask or dare

Capter 8

"Oi love birds we have our next dare!" Astrid sighed and pulled her gaze away from the beautiful forest green eyes which she could get lost in for hours. "What does it say?" She asked trying not to sound irritated that they ruined the moment.

I dare Snotlout to:
1. Steal Stoick's favourite axe
2. Kiss Astrid on the lips

"WHAT!!!!" Both Astrid and Hiccup yelled.

Astrid's POV————————————————
There is no way I am letting Snotlout any where near me. Unless we make Snotlout steal Stoick's axe first then he will be dead before he can kiss me.
"Fine. But you have to steal the axe first."
"As you wish babe." I could feel myself gagging when he said that
Hiccup looked like me after the first part of my first flight on Toothless.
Ready to be sick but then ready to murder Snotlout at the same time.
"Your not seriously going to kiss that guy are you?" Hiccup whispered in my worriedly.
"Of course not silly. Your dad will kill him for stealing his axe then I will not need to kiss him anyway" Hiccup chuckled then smiled at me this was going to be entertaining.

The next day Hiccup was discharged from Gothi's care but has to keep taking the medicine for his arm.

We made our way towards the Haddock household and hid behind a bunch of trees. Me and Hiccup keep sending each other smirks as we both know full well that Snotlout isn't going to make it out of this alive. I think Heather noticed our silent conversation because I saw her smiling at us out of the corner of my eye.

Snotlout climbed into the house through Toothless' hole in the roof which was created by Hiccup a while back. I was really impressed by that idea. Well all his ideas really. He has been in the forge quite a lot recently making a new and improved inferno after it was destroyed in the battle of the King of Dragons. My axe was destroyed too and I am not ashamed to say I cried that night. Hiccup realised what happened and worked solidly for two days to finish it. Even though I told him to get some rest. But Hiccup is Hiccup. He never gives up.
Wow I really need to stop thinking about Hiccup.

Anyway Snotlout ran back to us with the axe in his hand. Then I started to panic. Maybe I will have to kiss him after all. EWW!!!!!

"Well babe I got the axe so you know what comes next right?" I started walking backwards away from Snotlout and towards Hiccup. Hoping he would get the idea that I love Hiccup and not him. That obviously didn't work. Snotlout kept following me until my back hit against a tree. Snotlout was coming towards me and I panicked. I tried to reach for my axe but it wasn't there! Then I remembered. Hiccup woke me up early this morning to take me on a beautiful morning flight with Toothless. Curse you Hiccup and your romantic gestures.

But before I could do anything to stop him, Snotlout closed his eyes and kissed me. I tried everything in my power to push him off but he wouldn't budge. It soon turned into a heated make out session except with me not kissing back of course. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine that I was kissing Hiccup now but I couldn't. Hiccup has soft,gentle lips and has the power to make me feel like I am flying without a dragon. Snotlout, however has ruff lips and makes me feel like I am going to be sick.

I do everything in my power to shove him off and eventually succeed. I think it might have been because he needed to breathe.

I looked around the group and saw the twins being sick in the corner of the clearing. Fishlegs looked confused but anxious at the same time. Heather looked devastated but it didn't compare to the look that Hiccup was giving me. He had tears rolling down his cheeks and gave me his devastated and heartbroken look which always makes me cry. Heather must have noticed the tension between the two of us because she spoke up.

"Alright that was eventful...Umm...I recommend you put the axe back Snotlout before Stoick gets back maybe then we could go on a group flight?" Before any of us could do anything Hiccup jumped on Toothless and said "alright gang, lets go." He avoided my eyes the whole time and said it in the voice that made it seem like he was fine but I know him too well and could hear the heart break in his voice too.

Hiccups POV————————
I knew kissing Snotlout was part of the dare and I knew that he would turn it into a make out session but what made me cry was when Astrid closed her eyes. I guess it meant that she was enjoying it.

Once Snotlout places the axe back and we all get in the air when I decide to show Astrid who I really am.
"Come on bud. Let's give them a show." I whisper in my dragon ear. He grunts. He understands why I am upset, he saw the kiss as well.

Out of know where I click Toothless' new tail into place. After getting back from the edge I decided to make Toothless a new tail and we haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

We begin with 3 Rolls to get the attention of the rest of the gang. Then we go. I tuck back into the seat to decrease the air resistance and we fly around so fast it was amazing. We were tricking and doing rolls at the same time. Then we were flying so fast that a massive bang went off.
The gang yelled at me especially Astrid but I just kept flying doing crazier stunts as we did so. We rolled and flew down towards the ocean before flying in.

We stayed under for a while just to see what their reactions would be but just when I was about to run out of breathe I gave Toothless the hand signal to return to the surface.

We flew out of the water only to be punched by Astrid. "Hey what was that for?"
"Scaring me. If you were down there any longer I would have had to go down after you."
"I am surprised you would bother." I mumbled to myself. Of course she heard it. She hit me again much harder this time.
"I hated every minute I kissed Snotlout. You trust me right?" She asked. I knew I trusted her. I mean she has saved my life many times before now. I smiled at her and she climbed across Stormfly's saddle to mine. She sat in front of me on the saddle and moved one hand through my wet hair as the other rested on my cheek. I leaned into her touch as I moved my hands to wrap around my neck. We smiled at each other and leaned in....
