Astrid and Heather play ask or dare

Chapter 2

Astrid POV ————————-

"Ask or dare" Heather said confidently.
"Ask or dare? Sounds cool how do we play?" I asked her fascinated by the idea.
"We get sent terror mails giving us dares. Dares  are sort of like challenges we have to do but we can't tell anyone else we are doing it." She answered. Now I couldn't wait to get started.
"I love a challenge lets do this."
Heather smiled. "In the mean time do you want to through some axes?" My face lit up when she said that. I nodded and we headed towards the arena to do some training, talking about what we have missed when we were apart. Catching up on all the gossip on the other side of the archapaelago.  Heather was particularly interested in my relationship with Hiccup, but I didn't mind talking about him.

Once we reached the arena and had been throwing axes for a bit a terror mail came flying into the arena landing on my head.
"Looks like we might have our first dare!" Heather said excitedly

She took the scroll from the terrible terrors leg and un-rolled it as she read it out loud
"I dare Astrid to let her hair down for the rest of the day."
I was not a bit happy about that. "Do I have to?" I asked pleadingly.
"Yes you do, take it down now then we can go get lunch in the great hall." She replied sternly.
I undid my hair letting a waterfall of gold flow down my back. I did my best to cover my hair for I am quite self conscious about things like this.
"Astrid you look beautiful"
"Really?"
"Really" and with that we took off to the great hall.

Along the way many people seemed to notice my new hair style and many boys began winking and blowing kisses in my direction. I felt really uncomfortable and just wanted to go back to the safety of having my hair in my usual neat braid.
"You okay?" Heather asked concerned. I just gave a shy little nod and she gave me a friendly hug when we reached the doors to the great hall.
"Here goes nothing" and with that I opened the doors.

Hiccup's POV—————————————————
Me and the boys were sat at our usual table with Ruffnut just waiting for Astrid and Heather to arrive. They were quite late which is very strange for Astrid as she is normally the first one ready to train and stuff.  I was beginning to become a little worried but I knew she was probably just having fun with Heather and lost track of time. Fishlegs seemed to notice my uneasiness. "Hiccup are you okay?"
"Yeh just wondering where the girls got to" I didn't want to be the overprotective boyfriend but I always worry about my girlfriend constantly attempting stupidly dangerous stunts on her dragon and with an axe in her hand.

Snotlout decided this was the perfect time to tease me about my relationship. "What's wrong fishbone lost without your little girlfriend to protect you?". I sent him such a hard death stare I am surprised he didn't die right there in front of me. He began to back off after that.

Just then the doors swung open revealing a raven haired women and the most beautiful girl in the world.

I was instantly relieved to see them and shuffled over on the bench to allow my girlfriend to sit next to me.

It wasn't until then that I noticed how her hair was running gracefully down her back and not in its usual side braid.
" I like the new hair". She looked at me almost scared. I placed a reassuring hand on her soft cheek. She gave me a small smile and I leaned in to give her a gentle kiss on her red lips. We pulled away and stared into each other's eyes. I was enjoying our little moment only to be interrupted by Snotlout. Uhhh.

"Hi babe. If you want to come round to my house, my parents are all out on a fishing trip so we could have some privacy." He says trying to woo her. I could feel my fury burning up inside of me. Astrid slid closer to me for safety as Snotlout reached out a hand and ran it through her hair. Astrid looked at me terrified.

"What do you think you are doing?!" I practically yelled at him. He reached another hand towards Astrid's lips but I had enough...

Astrid POV——————————————————-
Snotlout reaches a hand towards my face. I sat there frozen not knowing what to do, but Hiccup acted for me launching himself at Snotlout.

Hiccup sent a big punch to Snotlout's  face knocking him out cold. "What was that?" Fishlegs questioned.
"That was the Resurrection if THOR'S MIGHTY HAMMER!" The twins chanted.
"Hiccup what are they talking about?" I asked.
Hiccup sighed and turned to me bright red.
"Do you remember when I saved Barf and Belch from the snow about a year ago."
"Yes I do." I answered whilst signalling for him to continue.
"Well one of the twins genius plans was to get Snotlout to attack me. I tried to avoid doing it but he said how the future chief was a coward. I had enough so I punched him in the face."
"That wasn't just a punch H, you knocked him out and knocked out three of his teeth."
Hiccup went even redder if that was even possible.
"Ahh, your my little hammer fists." I laughed whilst giving him a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Astrid." He complained. I laughed quietly to myself. "Right I think we should take him to see Gothi."
"Sure Thing Hammer fists."
"Astrid!"
