I sat in the back of the blacked out limo, my fingers twitching as I could almost hear the light screams in the near distance, premiere day flew by so fast, and being back in LA just felt like a place full of memories
Straight after we finished shooting I went back to the UK and took the time to think things over and spend it with my family and friends, I knew that coming here today would be a shock to everyone as I haven't been in touch with no one but Z since the day of my flight, i breathed out heavily seeing the Spider-Man homecoming sign from a distance, my name was on the poster in small writing next to Jacobs, just those letters lead my hands to shake continuously, my whole body turning to freeze mode as the driver spoke a few words to the security, before we were let onto the red carpet...
I watched the crowds of fans behind the bars screaming as my limo pulled up at the end, my driver opened his door, enhancing the screams as he held the handle of mine, i breathed out heavily as it opened exposing me to the humidity of the air as I lifted my outfit, letting the trail of the dress fall behind me
I waved smiling slightly to the crowds as I was directed in the corner of the interviewers, paparazzi flashing their cameras in my direction as I tried to smile even though I was getting blinded by the lights
D:Just this way we will get a few interviews done for you before you get your photos taken I heard Daniels voice, turning around and widening my eyes in relief as I had a familiar face nearby
I followed him to to the crowds, turning around randomly to be met with the boy I was most dreading to see, his hair was a little shorter than it was before, he adjusted his suit, walking into the camera flashes as he ran his hands through his hair I was lost for words just seeing him again, my movement was paused as I looked upon his appearance, i watched as a woman like figure appeared from behind him, squinting my eyes noticing who it was...
I swallowed hardly staring at Tom and Carla before Daniel nudged me towards the paps and interviewers, i didn't know how i would feel about being interviewed, I've never had to think about that sort of thing before i started shooting this movie and I defiantly wasn't myself after being thrown off with the image of tom and Carla spinning in my head
I:Hey, how are you? Her friendly voice put me at ease as she held the microphone in her hands, giving me a friendly hug
K:I... I'm good thank you, how are you I:I'm great I must say Kayla you look gorgeous tonight! K:Aw thank you! You too
I admired the effort she had made even as an interviewer as she adjusted the silky material of her sparkly gown I:So everyone was speculating whether you would be here tonight as we haven't heard from you in just under 8 months, where have you been? K:Uh I went home after we finished shooting back in the UK and took the time to spend it with my family knowing that obviously from now on I would have to be here for a few months due to press and things so yeah I just took the time for myself I:Ah well everyone is so glad you are here with us now, have you seen any familiar faces yet? K:Um I've seen a few of the cast but only from a distance so no I will have to catch up with them all later I:We had Zendaya here a little while ago actually and she said that the cast as a whole built up a really strong relationship, did that make it easier to Film day by day? K:Yeah, it definitely made it easier you know some scenes were really tricky to create and you had to build that friendship and that trust to be able to film them so, yeah I've defiantly made some friends for life out of this I:So obviously as we can see Tom has just walked onto the carpet, what was it like working with him and how do you think he brought of his character of peter Parker and Spider-Man? K:Uh, I... I think he done really well you know his representation of peter is really different to the other Spider-Man's in the past but that's a good thing you know I think that's what the public wanted I:Now I don't know if you know this but as you were back in the UK there has been some rumours spread around that you and Tom as well as him and zendaya and Carla did have a little relationship, just to clear it up what is your viewpoint on that? K:Uh well, no we were just good friends as is all the cast and you know him and Carla seem really happy and I'm happy for them so just don't believe everything you read I:Exactly right, well you enjoy your night and congrats on the movie! K:Thank you
I waved to her from a distance as groups of people were hurrying me towards the cameras opposite tom, Carla had left his side at this moment in time, the cameras were flashing in his direction as they all gestured me to stand next to him

His eyes locked with mine, the look so piercing my heart was beating fast enough for me to feel like it was going to fall out of my chest, he looked shocked to see me, his mouth was practically wide open as I looked at him, and then the cameras
P:Kayla, Kayla They dodged their fingers in between us as I swallowed hardly, as much as I wanted too, i knew i couldn't avoid him, I didn't want to speculate any rumours and it would be almost impossible for our paths to not cross again tonight
I closed my eyes before walking to stand beside him, my legs trembling as our bodies got closer, his hand snuck around my waist in a friendly way as I forced a smile for the cameras T:You... you look nice His soft, nervous whisper went straight through my brain as i still stood motionless in my position K:Tha... thank you We were useless in this very moment and it was clear that the pair of us weren't ready for this reunion
A few minuets past before the crowds hurried us off, i tried to dodge the group tom was heading towards but was cut off from my trail when i felt a light tap on my shoulder
H:Kayla? I widened my eyes smiling immediately as Harrison pulled me in for a hug H:I haven't seen you in like... K:Forever! He chuckled lightly H:Yeah, well it sure seems like that I tilted my head to the side as he guarded me in our conversation
H:So, how have you been!? K:Good! A lot better actually H:So your done with the whole... He dodged his head towards Tom who was standing a few meters from us chatting to Jacob and a few of the crew who were involved with creating this movie K:Oh, yeah, yeah I'm totally done with that He smirked nodding slowly as i questioned his thoughts over in my brain, was i lying to myself? I truly thought i was over him 10 minuets ago, but seeing him again... i can almost feel all the emotions suddenly rushing back H:Good
He was cut of by the entrance of someone who i truly missed... i smiled sympathetically as we locked eyes, she tilted her head to the side rushing towards me hugging me tightly C:We have a lot to talk about! K:We do I laughed lightly as Carla shook her head smiling C:I really missed you I hugged her again letting my curled hair straighten as I squished it against her shoulder K:I really missed you too C:Well, of course you did K:Whats that supposed to mean!
I faked a shocked look as she laughed continuously taking my arm in hers as we walked towards the fans in front of us, searching for a pen as the voices enhanced calling for our names, maybe this wouldn't be so awkward after all...
