CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Tears brimmed in Camila's eyes, everyone was still looking at them and Camila had no idea what to do. "I'm so sorry." She muttered softly before shoving past him to leave the cafeteria.

Lauren was seething. She ignored Dinah's grip on her arm and shoved her chair back in anger as she stood up.

She knew everyone was looking at the scene being played out in front of them but she wasn't thinking straight.

"Oh look who it is. The almighty Lauren Jauregui." Chuck exclaimed.

"This is not her fault." Lauren spit out.

"Right. She turned out to be a slut, that's not her fault." He said.

Lauren balled her fist.

"How about you fucking stay away from her Chuck." Lauren said through gritted teeth. Chuck was towering over her with his height but she wasn't intimidated at all.

"Tell me Lauren, does she know you fucked the whole school before her? You like to be used by men like that don't you?" Chuck spat out.

In a split second Lauren's fist came into contact with the bone of Chuck's nose. A soft crack was heard.

Gasps were heard throughout the entire cafeteria but all Lauren saw was red.

It was all around her, it fed on her senses, her emotions, her ability to breathe, to think. Her anger was a raging monster, destroying everything, destroying her world.

Her head felt as if it was going to explode. If it would she sure as hell would blow up that Chub with her.

"You fucking bitch!" Chuck howled out, a hand grasping his bleeding nose in utter surprise.

Lauren felt someone pulling her away from him and subjected to what appeared to be Dinah and Normani's strong hands.

She tried to blink away the tears of anger and the red spots that kept appearing in her eyesight. Once they were in the hallway she started to hyperventilate as reality started to dawn on her.

"Oh my God." She breathed.

"Why did I do that? Why the fuck did I do that?" She said rapidly. "Fuck."

All her carefully tucked away feelings started to boil up. They had bubbled up and spilled from the steel pan she had built around herself.

She had let go, in front of the whole school. She never lost herself, never showed any emotions, not to anyone. Anyone but Camila.

Normani and Dinah's hushed voices were but a mere background music to her breakdown. She couldn't make out any words.

Lauren let herself slide down the wall and sat down on the floor, hugging her knees. Chuck knew, he knew, he knew. And everyone had seen her hit him. Her mother would hear about this.

"Lauren calm down. We're here." She finally heard Normani say.

Lauren's eyes shot up and instead of just finding Normani and Dinah there she spotted him arrogantly leaning against a locker.

She shot up from the floor and pushed him against the lockers forcefully.

"I will fucking KILL you!" She shouted.

"Lauren!!" Dinah and Normani shouted in shock as they yanked her away from him.

She stood there, breathing heavingly, trying to compose herself.

"Can Lauren Michelle Jauregui please report to the principle's office?" A voice on the monitor said.

"I think that's your cue." He said with a wink as he turned on his heels and walked away.
