The bell finally rang for first period to be over. I then walked out of the class with Adam. He's a pretty cool guy. But I can't let him distract me from my mission.
"But you can get information from him." my mind said to me.
Well that is a valid point. He does seem like the kid to know a lot of people. Maybe it would be good to have him stick around.
"So Adam what do you do at this school?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked smiling.
"You know, like what's your thing?"
"Oh hockey."
"Are you good at it?"
"Well like I go here on scholarship so I guess I'm pretty good." He said laughing.
"How long have you been doing hockey for?"
"Every since I could walk. The ice has been with me since I was a kid."
"What team were you on before Eden." I asked.
"The Mighty Ducks." He said smiling.
That name sounded familiar to me for some reason. Then it hit me.
"You guys won the Junior Goodwill games didn't you!" I say a little to excited.
"Yeah after that the whole team got scholarships here to play." Adam said laughing.
"That's awesome Adam." I say smiling.
"So tell me what do you at this school Katie?"
What do I say? Shoot come on Katie come up with something.
"Ugh well I'm not really sure." I say.
"Come on there has to be something you do for fun." He said laughing.
"Well..." I start to say something but then I see my next class door.
"Oh there's my next class gotta go Adam." I say waving to him.
"Okay but we will find something for you to do at this school Katie." Adam says smiling.
Oh Adam if only you knew what I did for fun.
