Well English started on a weird note. I don't understand how guys just assume girls will drop everything to watch them play sports. Especially sports that are played in a freezing cold arena. But then again Adam plays on the hockey team. Maybe him and Luis play on the same team. Plus I could be getting information ugh why do I do this to myself.

Was I really going to tell Luis I was going to his practice after blowing him off completely. Well, this is information for the case so I need to do this. We had about 5 minutes left of class and were packing up when I turned to face Luis.

"Hey, so what time does your practice start?"

"Oh, so now you want to go? I thought you had a type?"

"Well maybe my schedule opened up and I wanted to see what you can go." I said smiling.

"4:30pm, the arena on Adam's street." He said. "Bring something warm it gets pretty chilly."

"I'll make sure to bring my mittens." I say grabbing my books and walking out of the classroom.

As I got into the hallway I went in search for Adam. It didn't take me very long to find him but he was with a crowd of boys. I may be a secret agent but I'm still a high school teen and a very shy one. It took every ounce of confidence to walk up to his group of friends.

"Hey Adam." I waved.

"Hey Katie how was class?"

"Good! Say do you play hockey with Luis Mendoza?"

"Uh yeah why? Was he giving you a hard time?"

"No he just invited me to watch his practice after school today."

"Oh wow classic Luis." one of Adam's friends said.

"He's already hitting on the new girl and it's not even lunch." Another one said.

"So he does this often?" I asked the boys?

"Yeah Luis is good at playing hockey but he's even better playing with hearts." 

"Well, thanks for letting me know. But I'll see you at practice then Adam."

"Yeah just make sure to wear layers it gets pretty cold." He says.

"Yep I'll remember my mittens." I say smiling as I walked to my next class.
