Chapter 6

Steve's POV

I entered to room and everyone looked up. "Hey Steve how are you feeling?" Maria asked, "I'm feeling fine, a little weak though!" I said smiling. I sat down in a chair and sighed, "Steve there's someone you need to talk to" Tony  said suddenly putting his hand on my shoulder. He looked in the direction of the door, standing there was Bucky. I stiffened slightly in my chair, he noticed this and said "Steve I haven't come to hurt anyone, just to talk." I relaxed a bit and said "Ok then what is it?" Bucky started to talk, "Well as you know HYDRA brainwashed me and I lost all my memories.." he paused. "Ever since the you said my name two years ago I've started to get some memories back. Then a few weeks ago I over heard some HYDRA agents talking about an injection that would reverse what had been done. I stole it from them and injected my self and I now remember everything." Bucky stopped talking and in my head I repeated everything he had just said. I was over the moon, though it was hard to believe, I had my best friend Bucky back.

Natasha's POV

I woke up in the spare room, idiots moving me without asking, I thought to my self. I stood up and went to wear Steve was sleeping but he wasn't there. Mabye he has woken up, then why hadn't Bruce or someone woken me up too? Ugh I was gonna kill them. I walked down to the room I knew they'd been in, and saw them all sitting there talking, I was right Steve had woken up.  I opened the door, "So, Captain Rogers why didn't you wake me up?!" I said. Steve turned around, "Natasha!" he said smiling and hugging me. We hugged for a moment and then I said "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!" "No it's fine, I'm perfectly alright there is nothing to feel guilty about!" Steve said rubbing my arms and smiling. I pulled him into another hug and lay my chin on his shoulder, I saw Bucky sitting there. It still was hard to belive that he wouldn't suddenly stand up grab a gun and shoot everyone in this room. But I had to trust him for Steve's sake, so I smiled at him and he smiled back. "Wow how long are you gonna hug!" Clint exclaimed. I had completely forgotten that I was hugging Steve, his hugs were so warming and safe. I pulled away from him, "Shut your mouth pigeon!" I said giggling a little, Clint made a face and me and Maria laughed teasing him! I sat down next to Steve and took a deep breath, "Are you alright?" Steve asked concerned. I stared back at him, I could see in his eyes that he cared about me, about everyone in this room. He was such a wonderful, friendly, funny, caring person, how could anyone dislike him? We looked into each others eyes and I could feel everyone staring, "Yeah I'm fine" I said gently not breaking eye contact. "It's just that...." I paused "It doesn't matter" I said looking at my hands, Steve put his hands on mine "We can talk about it in private if you want" he said. "Yeah ok" I said standing up.

Steve's POV

Natasha and I left everyone and walked into the room next door, "What is in that you want to say?" I asked softly, "Well it's just that I see how much you care for us and you would take a built for us, I know you would! And I don't think that I can ever pay you back, especially with who I am.....Steve I'm not good enugh to be your friend....you don't even know me." Natasha started to cry a bit, she really believed everything she had just said. "Well if I don't know you can you tell me who you are? I bet on my life that I'll love you no matter what!" I said cringing slightly for I had been way to cheesy there. " You promise?" Nat said, "I promise." I answered taking her hand and pulling her into yet another hug.
