Bionic love

Crush, Chop, and Burn;

Leo and I walk up the long driveway that leads to the door of our new home, but we're trailing behind a little because he and I are carrying all the bags. As we get closer to the now wide-open door I can hear Leo's stepdad and my godmother.

"Welcome to your new home, Mrs. Davenport!"

"Why, thank you, Mr. Davenport."

"Absolutely, Mrs. Davenport."

Leo and I finally enter the house and we spot Tasha being carried by Mr. Davenport and see them kissing.

"We get it--"

"You guys are married" I exclaim finishing Leo's sentence.

"It's getting old." Leo and I then drop the bags on the ground and look around our new home.

"Wow!" Leo says taking the words out of my mouth as I look around in awe of my new home.

"You got this big house just from inventing things?" I ask turning to my new godfather. Gotta get used to that.

"Mm-hmm." 

"Way to go, Tasha"

"That's a husband." 

I take another look around the room and spot something standing next to the couch and I cautiously walk over to it with Leo beside me. "What the heck is that?" 

"Oh, uh that is my latest creation." Mr. Davenport says as he slightly blocks Leo and me. "Davenport Industries' first completely interactive 3-D TV." He waves his hands on either side of it and an image of a baseball field appears.

The ball in the game then flies toward Leo and I. I, being smarter than Leo, stepped out of the way and watch as Leo fly's into the wall trying to catch the ball.

"Watch the vase, termite!" I look behind Leo and spot a little screen on the wall with an emoticon and I raise an eyebrow.

"Mom, I think the little voice inside my head is back."

I walk to my best friend's side and rest my elbow on his shoulder.

"No, this is Eddy. He's my smart home system." Oh, well this is gonna be interesting. "Eddy, this is my new stepson, Leo, and my new goddaughter Anya." Leo and I awkwardly wave and smile at the new smart home system as Mr. Davenport introduces the two of us. "Remember, I told you, Leo, Anya, and Tasha are moving in today?"

"H-h-hey, welcome. Everything here is mine." Okay well I know right now I'm going to hate this thing.

"Uh, Leo, why don't you and Anya go check out your new bedroom? Just go straight down that hallway, and when you see the room with the video games and the action figures and the 50-foot-screen TV" Is that going to be Leo's room?" keep walking-- that's mine." 

Eh, I know Leo will still sneak in there anyway. Leo and I then walk away and start the hunt for his new bedroom

After a few minutes of walking around the halls, Leo and I stop and I lean against the wall beside the chair that is in the hallway. I mess with the hem of my black short sleeve shirt and rest one of my ked-cladded feet on the wall behind me.

"Leo, this place is huge!"

"We're gonna need a GPS just to find the bathroom."

I sigh and watch as my best friend leans on the wall. We then hear a beep and I look to the wall opposite us and see a symbol on metal doors. The doors slide open and Leo and I, being the curious people we are, walk over to the now open doors and peek inside.
