"Okay, guys. The next phase of your training is handling extreme climates." I lean against the console in front of the capsules and listen intently to what my godfather has to say."So we'll frost Chase, bake Bree, and submerge Adam." I look to my friends and see them all excited for their assigned training conditions."That's not part of the training, I just got one of those carnival dunk tanks and I can't wait to try it out." I giggle a bit at his excitement and then spot Chase running to his capsule."Okay, Chase, I'm setting your tube on "Antarctic." If it gets to be too much, just give me a sign."

"Bring it." I send Chase a small smile as the capsule powers up.

"Hey, that's not fair. I want to be abused by weather." I look incredulously at Leo and put my hand on my hip as I stand straight.

"Leo, if you really want to be abused, try standing over here next to Adam's morning breath."

I send a sympathetic glance to Bree then gag at what Adam says to us all. "I don't have morning breath. It smells like that all day."

"Leo, these guys are genetically engineered to handle these kinds of climates. You're not."

"I can handle extreme cold."

I rest my hand on Leo's shoulder to which he turns his head to me."Leo, you get brain freeze from chewing mint gum." Leo rolls his eyes at me and before he can respond to me I hear Davenport's phone ring.

"Davenport." He holds the phone to his ear and I see his eyes pop open."What?!"He runs away from us and we quickly follow after him as he stays on the phone."Well, that's terrible. I mean, that's awesome, but that's terrible! I-I gotta do something." He then quickly hangs up the phone and Adam, for the first time that I've seen at least, get's serious.

"What's going on? What's so terrible?"

"Well I created the world's fastest train, but now it's speeding out of control full of highly explosive Nuclonium towards downtown Welkerville!"

Oh shit!" Well, then what was so awesome?" I ask while standing beside Bree.

"It's going like 400 miles an hour." Well damn."My entire career is ridding or perhaps crashing on this train!" He then runs over to his computer and begins to rapidly type."I don't understand it my design was flawless!"

"So flawless you forgot to include an emergency break?" I ask while looking at him my arms crossed over my chest.

"No. I never counted on the conductor dropping his papaya smoothie all over the controls and then jumping off the train."

"Well, if I were to build a high-speed train, the first thing I would of put in was a cup holder. Oh! And one of those bumper stickers on the back that says, 'I break for Cows.'" I let out a small amused scoff at Adam as Bree swings her arm onto my shoulder.

"You know, when stuff like this happens, they always blame the scientist. This is human error. Scientists don't make mistakes." We then hear a tap and I shake off Bree's arm and my eyes pop open when I spot Chase with ice forming on him as he begins to turn Blue. Oh my damn!

"Chase. Now I have to explain the whole train story again." Everyone but me let's out an annoyed sigh as we all go to get Chase out of his capsule.

I sit beside Chase while he's wrapped in a blanket rubbing my arms up and down trying to warm him up. As Davenport runs back into the room with a giant black duffle bag and sets it on the cyber desk.

"The good news is, whenever I invent something, I always create a backup device to support it."

Everyone walks to Davenport as I wrap Chase into a hug trying to warm him up.
