Bionic love

Leo's Jam;

"C'mon AJ just ask Chase to the dance, it's obvious you like him. I mean the two of you are always standing near each other and you guys do homework together!"

I close my locker door and then look to my bestest best friend and give her a look that means shut up as I lean against my locker.

"Bree I told you the other day about what I am feeling and you immediately assume that my confusion means I like him, besides there are plenty of girls out there better than me. Plus I'm probably not going to go. Dances are not really my thing." I then push away from my locker and bring my books against my chest as we walk down the halls."Also, the guys that have asked me have asked only because they think I'll say yes and then I'll 'let' them get with me." I say the last part as I give a hard roll of my eyes.

"What's 'get with me' mean?" I stop and widen my eyes then look to my friend and hold my books under one of my arms.

"Weeeeelll......you know what I'll explain later darling."I gently lay my hand on her shoulder then continue through the halls towards Leo's locker so we can meet up with him as well as Adam and Chase.

I spot Leo sitting on a bench with Chase and Adam standing behind him.

"So, Leo... What should I write down in my notebook? I mean other than 'denied.'"

I let out a low scoff at Chase's words due to the fact that I am fairly certain Leo attempted to ask out that bimbo Danielle, the one who uses my poor vertically challenged friend as a footstool.

"No, no, no, you can cheat off of me. I have, 'she's not going to the dance with Lenny.'"

I giggle quietly as we come up next to them at Adam's little note on the exchange that occurred.

"Are you guys talking about the dance too?" I stand besides my friend as we face the boys and I push a loose strand of my hair behind my ear when I lock eyes with Chase. "Why is everybody making such a big deal out of this stupid dance?"

I look at Bree and raise my eyebrow because she was literally just practically harassing me about it.

"Nobody's asked you yet, have they?" Chase asks his sister

"Nope." I say popping the 'p' to which Bree elbows me as she whines a bit.

"I really want to go with that guy." I look to where she gestured her head and spotted Ethan, aka the boy she keeps telling me about."His name is Ethan. We sit next to each other in chemistry. Coincidence? I think not."She then says Chemistry in a sing-song voice to which I roll my eyes at my dear friend."What should I do?"

"I got this." 

Chase then walks past me and I go and stand between Bree and Adam as Chase uses his bionic hearing.  

"He's talking about a girl he thinks is cute. Eww! He's talking about you!" Bree turns to me and Adam excitement all over her face as I just send her a small smile while Adam and Leo look like they are about to burst with excitement."He's coming over here right now to ask you to the dance." 

Bree then begins to freak out as I push her a bit closer to the door as Chase comes to stand next to me as he covers up his ear.

"How's it going?" Ethan asks as he stands in front of a nervous Bree and I have to hold in a laugh.

"Ethan! What a huge surprise! To see you here, for reasons we do not know." I then elbow Chase before he can continue to which he sends me a small glare. Then swings his arm across my shoulder as we watch the exchange between Bree and her crush to which we now know, thanks to Chase, that he likes her as well.
