Chapter 2

Johnny's POV

When Mackenzie closed the door I let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding. Some questions started buggind my head. Why is she so shy? But the most important one was; why doesn't she like me? I mean most girls do. Correction, every girl. Who wouldn't with my looks? Dirty blonde hair, emerald eyes,pearly teeth and I do work out every day so you can imagine that my body is pretty athletic. Most people say I have a big eggo but I personally think that they just can't deny the fact that I am hot.

Coming back to reality, I was chilling in my room when my adorable little sister(note the sarcasm) came into my room

"Don't you know how to knock?" I asked.

"Em...Sorry. I just wanted to know who was that girl" Lauren asked me.

"Her name is Mackenzie. Why would you care?" I replied.

"Someone's on his period" Lauren said.

"Can you leave my room?" I yelled at Lauren.

"Okay, okay" Lauren replied while getting out of my room.

After she left I changed on my PJ's and went to sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.

I was suddenly woke up by the delightful sound of my alarm clock, meaning I had to hurry up if I didn't want to arrive late for school. And now you may think;"Wow, a bad boy wants to arrive early for school!" Well I am pretty cool once you get to know me. Anyways, I took a random outfit, went downstairs and ate breakfast. Luckily my annoying little sister wasn't around because she left early for school. Then I walked outside and drove to school.(a/n:They are 17 so they can drive) When I arrived to school, I saw my girlfriend waiting for me. Oh, I forgot to tell you. I have a girlfriend and her name is Danielle Colhn but I call her Dani. She' s way shorter than me though she says she is just fun size. I never realised that she dresses terrible, not like Macken-wait! Why am I thinking about Mackenzie? She is just my partner for the stupid project. I was cut off my thoughts by the annoying voice of Dani. Why am I seeing all flaws in her right now, when we've been dating for like 3 months?

"Hey babe, why don't you hold my hand or grab my waist? People are looking at us." I sighed taking her hand and sending glares to the people who were watching. For them we are the "it" couple. We are both popular, she's a cheerleader, I'm on the football team...Now that I think about it our school is super cliché.

It was time for lunch and I was heading to the popular gang table when I saw Mackenzie sitting all by her own, reading a book. I decided to go and talk to her.

"Hey Mackenzie" I said" Are you free tomorrow after school? Cause we need to finish the project."

"I'm sorry, I already have plans" She whispered.

"I'm sure that I am more important than those plans" I replied.

"Again, I'm sorry but I have reading club" She told me.

"Are you seriuosly gonna ditch me for some books?" I asked her.

"Yeah, books are way better than you" She said shyly.

"Sure. Anyways, text me when are you free so we can finish the project. You have my phone number" I said changing the topic. I winked at her and went to sit with my friends. Surprisingly, Danielle wasn't sitting besides me. She was sitting besides Carson, one of my friends. She was a little bit too flirty but I didn't mind.

I was walking to my house when I got a text. I opened my phone and realise it was from Dani.

D: Hey babe

J: Hey

D: Are you free tonight????

I was about to text back but I received a message from an unknown number.

???: I am free this afternoon. You can come to my house and we will work on the project.

J: Is this Mackenzie?? If it is, can you send me your adress??

M: Yeah I am Mackenzie. My adress is ********

J: Thanks. I'll be around in 20

M: Kay

I replied Dani and, guess what was my answer??

J: Sorry I have plans.

I don't know why but it felt so good saying no to Danielle cause I had plans with Mackenzie. It was the then when I realised that I needed to break up with Danielle. I just don't like her anymore. In fact, I feel like she's annoying, and she just wants to date me to gain popularity, not like Macke- wait. Why am I thinking again about her?

This has nothing to do with her, right?
