There were moments in her life when Addison wondered how she'd gotten herself into various situations. Being sat in the main office with an ice pack on her lip to stop the swelling was one of those times. She'd been dragged into the office, handed an ice pack then she'd been informed that the office would be ringing home so she better use the time to 'think about what she had done'. As far as Addison knew, Chloe was in the head of sixth form's office and was hopefully being suspended, expelled or yelled at until the head of sixth's voice turned hoarse.

Addison sat shaking slightly at the thought that the school had rung home. Either her father or Eric could be on their way here. No doubt both of them would give her an hour long lecture on fighting and how she was a disgrace on the family.

"I'm here for Addison Harper" someone said from the reception area. Addison looked up in surprise because it wasn't her father, Aaron or Eric; it was Mark of all people.

"Mark?" Addison said gaping as her brother strode over to her. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Sorting shit out so Dad and Eric don't kill you. I was at home when this damn place left a message; I deleted it before Dad or Eric could hear and came right here."

"Why?" Addison asked because Mark was the last person she would have expected to come and get her.

"Why do you think, you idiot? You're my sister and you were caught fighting. I know Dad expected this from me when I was here but you...you're the good kid and he'd shit himself hearing about this." Mark said rolling his eyes.

"I was the good kid." Addison corrected.

"Bullshit, you still are the good kid and I don't want Dad giving you shit over this. Why did you slap that stuck up bitch in the first place?" Mark asked.

"Addison!" A voice called from across the room causing Addison to turn around and forget that she was talking to Mark. Both Dylan and Leo were striding across the room until they were right in front of Addison. Dylan looked furious, really furious.

"Dylan." Addison said breathlessly.

"What the fuck happened? I got yanked out of class by someone saying that Niamh had been in a fight or something like that and you were involved. Is she ok, what the fuck happened to her?" Dylan asked as his voice rapidly raised until he was nearly shouting.

"Wait, this wasn't even your fight to begin with? Fuck sake Addison. You just strode in because of some random girl?" Mark muttered. Dylan's head whipped round the Mark and glared at him.

"Hey dude that's my sister you're talking about there so back off." Dylan snapped.

"Dylan don't." Leo said warningly as he looked Mark up and down.

Mark looked at Dylan and probably saw what most other people saw, a seventeen year old in a beaten up leather jacket and ripped jeans that screamed trouble. They wouldn't know about Dylan's love of art or the sheer look of pride he would get on his face when his mother said something sweet about him. Addison wasn't supposed to be thinking like that though. If she knew what was good for her, she would be looking at Dylan in the exact same way that Mark was but she couldn't find it in her heart to do that.

"No Leo, I want to know what the fuck has happened." Dylan snapped looking between both Mark and Addison. The harsh look in Dylan's eyes made Addison drop her head and attempt to look anywhere but at Dylan. "Addi, what happened? Don't give me any bullshit either, I want to know." Dylan said still sounding furious. Addison looked back up and saw that the fury might have been in Dylan's voice but it certainly wasn't in the pleading look he was now giving Addison.
