We descended the mountain diligently and found ourselves at the gates of Castle Rock. They were locked up tight. We had no way around this city with an ocean on one side and jagged mountains on the other, our only way was through. I went forward to the gate followed by Four.

"Halt!"

"We bring no harm or trouble. We seek passage to Demetria."

"No one is coming in and no one goes out without a symbol."

"Yes I have one. Here." I turned and pulled my light hair to the side, exposing my neck and the intricate tattoo symbol that represents me. Universal love, beauty, unity, persistence, patience, fortitude, encouragement, and kindness. These were the qualities I was given. And I have gained some more in my life that I placed on my forearm. Friendship and vitality are placed on my arm in black ink.

"Open up the gates!" The guard yells to the gate keepers.

"Let's go."

We started walking through Castle Rock at a quickened pace. People were staring and whispering about us as we held our heads high.

We got through the town and had the urge to run so we hopped on our horses and took off for the woods. We had a two days journey to Demetria and quite a few obstacles along the way. Not even a mile out and we ran into a river. The bridge had fallen down halfway. I tested the current and saw it wasn't horrible so I secured everything for the swim and we dove in.

We were three quarters of the way when the horses lost momentum. They began moving downstream and falling fast. I pushed them on but they we're tired. I kept up the encouragement as they struggled. They pushed through and paddled their way to the other shoreline.

We went into the tree line and all collapsed onto the soft grass. Passed out they all slept for two hours.
