chapter 4

❖Matt POV❖

Samantha smirked at me.. I didn't do anything back. She started walking over to me but I got up. I walked over to Kenzie. It was a little dark and she went inside to get something and Samantha told me something.

"hey come here. I need to tell you something." Samantha said.

"what?" I asked.

She dragged me to the front porch.

"now sit down!" Samantha demanded.

"why?!" I asked.

"because." she said. Then she sat on my lap and kissed me. I saw Kenzie looking and she ran over to me. She came over and grabbed me.

"hey he doesn't like you!!" she screamed. I didn't say anything because I didn't hear anything. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. She ran inside and I ran after her.

❀Mackenzie POV❀

I can't believe he doesn't like me. I thought Matt would say something but he didn't. Now I really know what to do with these magcon tickets. Throw them away. I ran to my room and locked it and took the magcon tickets and threw them away. I heard knocking on my bedroom door.

"go away." I said.

"it's me Matt."

"go away!" I mumbled.

"Kenzie please I can explain!"

"go away" I said.

He kept knocking until he stopped. Then I heard jiggles from the doorknob and he got in. Tears started falling. He looked in the trash can and took the magcon tickets out. I put my head under my pillow so that he won't see my ugly face.

"Kenz, please listen." he said.

"no." I mumbled.

"Okay, so when you went inside Samantha pulled me to the front porch and I tried to get away but I couldn't I just couldn't. And why did you come up here and cry?" he asked.

"because Samantha said that you didn't like me and you didn't say anything." I cried.

"what? she said that?!" he asked.

"c'mon you heard her" I said.

"no I didn't! I would of said it if I heard her Kenz." he said.

"please forgive me." he said.

"no. you didn't do anything. forgive me." I said.

"okay , I forgive you." Matt smiled. I smiled back. He hugged me.

"now let's go." he said.

"okay." I said.

It was dark outside and we made s'mores. And I had a fun night. But me and Matt went up to my room to watch movies. Matt put his arm around my waist and I blushed. My eyes were getting heavier and heavier as then I fell asleep.
