Note;
Ever since I put Jeff and Sebastian 'together' in "Just don't fall in love", I kind of was fascinated by their friendship. So I thought that it would be interesting to write a one shot in Sebastian's point of view and to kind of see his 'emotions' and how he would feel about Jeff if he would actually have a crush on him.

“Do you have a crush on him?” I hear Hunter whisper. My head shoot up as I look at him confused. I caught myself staring at Jeff for like the fifth time this rehearsal.

“Of course not,” I mumble.

“Oh that’s right. You’re Sebastian Smythe. You don’t crush on anybody, you don’t fall in love and you most definitely weren’t staring at that handsome tall blonde over there,” Hunter’s voice is filled with sarcasm.

“You’re a dick,” I say while I get up to grab a water bottle from the little fridge in the corner of the choir room.

“Hey Sebastian,” I hear a soft whisper behind me. The sudden sound and the recognition of the voice causes me to drop my water bottle on the floor. I quickly grab it before I turn to face Jeff, a little embarrassed.

“Oh hi Jeff,” I try to say as normal as possible. “What’s up?”

“Well I was wondering if you could maybe help me with practicing the song for Sectionals. I was sick the entire week last week, so I missed quite a lot.”

Since Hunter came to Dalton last summer, they made me co-captain. For some reason the other Warblers don’t seem to like him that much so they tend to come to me for advise, instead of to him.

“Yes. Of course Jeff,” I smile at him genuinely before I walk back to Hunter.

“What did blondie want?” Hunter smirks in amusement.

“He just wants to practice with me,” I mumble and try my best to make it sound like it’s not a big deal at all.

“You do realise that you have to make a move with him…” Hunter states.

He is right. It’s about time that I have to let Jeff know that I have a crush on him. It sounds weird to call it a crush but I guess that’s what it is when you feel nervous around a person, when they make you feel weirdly warm on the inside and when you feel like your skin is on fire at the slightest accidental brushing of skin. I never really had a crush on anyone before because – like Hunter said – that’s so unlike me. Of course I have made out with plenty of guys and definitely hooked up with all the guys that have ever been in Scandals, but I have never been on a real date. Hunter is right. It’s about time I’m going to change that.’

“Guys. You’re dismissed. We’ll have practice again in two days,” Hunter tells the Warblers before they all leave the room, which leaves me alone with Jeff.

“So what exactly do you want help with?” I ask Jeff as I walk over to him. “You’re like the best dancer out of all of them.”

“Thank you,” Jeff sounds surprised. “But I’m a real perfectionist so I have to get these dance moves perfect or I will blame it all upon myself if we lose.”

“You shouldn’t put so much pressure on yourself.” I roll up the sleeves of my blazer and push my quiff back up before I take in the starters positions. “Oh and if we lose it’s not because of you. It’s probably because Hunter is a douchebag.” I receive a giggle from Jeff. The sound of it alone already brings a smile upon my face and shivers down my spine.

Damn I am really badly crushing on him’.

After half an hour of practice me and Jeff decide to take a little break.

“Do you want some water?” I walk over to the little fridge and grab two bottles of ice cold water.

“Yes please,” is Jeff’s response. I throw a bottle his direction, which he catches easily with one hand. “Pfff. This routine is so exhausting.” I sit down on the leather couch. Jeff unbuttons the one golden button that keeps his blazer together, and slips it off. He drops it somewhere on the couch before he unbuttons the first two buttons of his dress shirt. He also undoes his tie and takes it off. Only then I realise that I have been staring at him, or more like at his body.

Jeff must’ve realised that I have been staring because he says: “I’m sorry. The routine is quite difficult and with this weather I prefer not to sweat more than necessarily.” Jeff’s voice sounds defensively. He takes place next to me on the couch.

“No need to apologize. You’re right it’s  really hot in here.” The fact that Jeff is wearing less clothes isn’t really helping either. “Like really, really hot.”

“Are you alright?” Jeff asks. “You’ve been acting strangely different the past few weeks.”

Shit. He realised it! Common Sebastian, do what Hunter told you and let Jeff know how much you like him’, I think to myself. I look over to Jeff and see that he has a questioned look on his face.

“Well…” I start and realise that my voice is shaking. ‘Seriously?! The things this blonde boy does to me’. I swallow hard to get the big lump out of my throat. I look down and press my nails into the back of my hand. “I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out with me sometime. Maybe get some coffee or go to the movies?” It stays quiet for a little while so I look up to meet Jeff’s eyes.

“I’d love to,” he says with a sweet smile.

Note;
Oh and I'm actually working on a part two of this one shot, about the actual date. (Do you even still call it a one shot if it has a part two?) That will probably be up soon :)
