I turned around and Luke was standing behind me with his right hand on my shoulder.

"Hey!" he said as he pulled me into a hug. I noticed he balled his hands into a fist when he hugged me, just like how Logan used to.

"Hey." I replied, pulling away from the hug.

"Didn't expect to see you at a party like this." he said, motioning to a few girls flashing other guys.

"How come? You don't even know me." I snapped.

"I don't know...you just don't seem that type." he shrugged.

"Well I'm really not, I kind of came here for Andrea." I answered.

"Where is she?" he asked.

"With Ashton. I felt like the third wheel so I left them." I replied truthfully.

"Ah, I see. Want a drink?" he yelled over all the loud music and noises.

"No thanks, I don't drink." I said, looking down at the red carpet.

Why does Luke always remind me of my ex, Logan? Drinking was the main reason our relationship ended once and for all.

*FLASHBACK*

"There is nothing to explain! I trusted you with all my damn heart, Logan! How could you?!" I yelled at him.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks, I couldn't help it.

I can't believe this. This is the same guy I fell in love with, my first love, and he only paid me with pain and tears and more pain.

I left him there, drunk and begging on his knees. He's hopeless now.

"Honey, everything will be alright." my mom said, trying to comfort me after I explained everything to her the next day. I cried my eyes out last night, I don't think there's any tears left.

I need to talk, but I don't know what to say.

I need to cry, but I don't know how to let the tears flow.

I want to live, but I don't know if I have the courage to face another day.

It's so hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"Earth to Alexa!" Luke shook his hands in front of me, breaking me from my dreadful flashbacks.

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry what did you say?" I apologized.

"I said let's go find Ashton and Andrea." Luke replied.

"Oh yeah, good idea."

We strolled around the whole house, not finding any signs of Andrea nor Ashton. I was finally about to give up when Luke spotted them.

"Oh, I see them!" Luke said, pointing towards the balcony.

"What?" I said, but it came out more like a whisper. They're making out...full on making out. But what about Andrea and Michael? Wasn't there something between her and Michael?

Luke started walking towards them, but I pulled him back by his wrist.

"No, don't. Let them have their moment." I said.

"Alright, well since these kinda parties aren't your thing, wanna get away from here?" he inquired.

"Uh, I don't know. What if Andrea decides to go home before we're back? She doesn't have another ride." I explained. I kind of wanted to leave this place anyway, I never really liked these kind of parties.

"We'll be back before she even notices you're gone!" he said happily.

"Okay, fine. Let's go." I said, shaking my head and laughing.

We make our way past the crowds and to the front doors of the condo within 5 minutes.

As Luke searches for his car, I check my phone to see if anyone called or texted me. No one did.

"So where are we going?" I ask Luke when we're in the car.

"Since you're new to the state, I'll give you a little tour." he smiled.

"That's nice of you, thanks." I returned the smile.

"There's many places here you have got to visit! California is just full of beauty." he said, his eyes glued on the road.

"I heard about the Golden Gate Bridge, always wanted to go there ever since I was little." I stated.

"We can go there first, if you want." he inquired.

"Thanks, I'd love that." I smiled.

**Half an hour later**

"We are now riding on the bridge!" Luke said excitedly and rolled down the windows on both of our sides.

The wind blew through my hair. It felt amazing.

"This bridge is an engineering marvel and has such beautiful views. So beautiful that some people apparently feel compelled to hurl themselves off it." he informed me.

The Golden Gate Bridge isn't really golden at all, it's more like a rust. It's so beautiful and iconic. Why would anyone want to hurl themselves off of it?

Driving on this bridge was something I've always wanted to do, and now Luke made one of my wishes come true.

Right then, we heard screams coming from the car next to us. A girl screamed Luke's name. I looked to the right and a few teenage girls were running to keep up with our car.

I looked over to Luke to find him already looking back at me with an worried expression.

"What's going on?" I questioned.
