*Alexa's POV*

Quickly deciding on what to wear, I finally chose to go with a pair of black skinny jeans paired with a pink high-low top with studs along the collar line.

My makeup consisted of mascara, concealer, and a light shade of lip gloss as usual. I curl my hair and grab a small strand from both sides and clip it in the back with a pink and black polka dotted bow to match my outfit for the day.

I head downstairs to find my mom in the kitchen.

"Hi, honey. Going somewhere?" she asks just as I suspected.

I can't tell her the truth since she already saw how many tattoos the boy has, it'll only make her lose trust in me, again.

"Andrea said she'll give me a little tour." I lie to my mother for the second time in one day.

My phone beeps and I look down to read the notification as I reach the main door. Its a text from Luke. He wants me to meet him outside. Thank goodness he didn't show up at my door.

"Bye mom, I'll see you later." I close the door behind me before she could reply.

"Ello!" Luke greets me.

"Hey! So where are we going?" I ask as he pulls me into a hug.

"You'll see. And I was thinking maybe we could walk there together since it's just a few blocks away." he pulls apart, breaking the hug.

"Oh, alright. Sure." I shrug.

"Hey, let's play 21 questions while we walk, so like we can get to know more about each other." I say after a moment of silence.

"Okay. Uhm...what's your favorite color?" he asks, looking over at me.

"Blue. Uh, if you were invisible for a day, what would you do in that day's time?"

"Definitely go to a mall and inside a lingerie store." he smirked.

"Luke!" I playfully scold him.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" he let out a laugh. "Alright, favorite musical instrument?"

"Uh, I can only play a little bit of piano but my favorite instrument would be the drums." I answer.

He immediately looks away as if he was disappointed. Did I say something wrong?

"What is the weirdest nickname someone had for you?" I ask.

He pretended to stroke an imaginary beard for a while. Finally looking up, he said "Lukey-pookey."

"Aww, Lukey pookey!" I say playfully, poking his dimples.

"No, don't call me that. It's weird." He says rather fast, laughing along with me.

We asked and answered random questions until we finally reached the destination.

"A...a fair?" I ask in awe as my "o" shaped face curves into a smile.

I had no idea today was the Marin County fair. It all looks so beautiful, the decorations, the games, the rides, everything looks perfect. I want to participate in every single games and go on every single rides. I couldn't have asked to be in a better place right now, Luke was very thoughtful about this. I will have to thank him later.

"Yep, thought it would be fun." Luke smiles, breaking through my thoughts. "Oh and there they are." He added, pointing to four figures coming towards us. I can only recognize 3/4 of them. The one I couldn't recognize was a blonde girl.

"Hey, nice to see you again." Ashton says and pulls me into a hug.

"I'm Calum. We've met before." Calum said, also putting his arms around me for a hug.

"I remember." I chuckled, hugging back.

I actually met Calum before I met and talked to any of the other guys. He was the one who gave me the note from Luke near the fountain outside of school.

"And I'm Michael." the guy with lilac hair waves at me.

"I'm Alexa. It's nice to see all of you again." I say. Oh there's one more person, who's she?

"Hey! I'm Ivanna." the blonde girl introduces herself as if reading my mind. She's really pretty. She has on an ATL crop top with high wasted shorts and black converse.

"I like your name." I compliment her.

"Thanks! Alexa is a really pretty name too." she smiles.

"Well guys, let's go make some memories!" Michael beamed excitedly, throwing his hands up in the air.

"Hey, do you think I could invite Andrea here? If that's okay.." I ask them.

"Yes!" Ashton replied rather fast, making me giggle.

"I-I mean...yeah, that's fine." he stuttered, scratching the back of his neck and looking down at his feet. Calum playfully shoves him, probably thinking exactly what I'm thinking.

I quickly text Andrea the deeds while we finally get inside and away from the gates. When I look up, we are standing in front of a tent with multi-colored balloons on the wall and a middle aged man, around 30ish, was standing in the corner, smiling at us. I step back to see the name of the game, the top of the tent had the words "POP THE BALLOON" in big bold letters.

"I think we should have a little challenge." Calum suggested and all of our eyes rested on him.

"What kind of challenge?" Ashton asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Well, since there is six of us, we should split into two groups of threes and play these games." he said, motioning to the tents. "Within half an hour, the group that wins the least amount of prizes has to...." he stopped, pretending to stroke an imaginary beard.

Suddenly his eyes go wide, looking at something behind me.

"The group that wins the least amount of prizes has to go on that ferris wheel and owe each person of the other group five bucks." he finished explaining with a huge smile on his face, obviously proud of his suggestion.

Everyone turned around to see the ferris wheel. It wasn't like a normal ferris wheel, it was extra huge!

"Really Calum?" Luke asks, making Calum smirk a little.

"I'm in." I smile, liking the idea a lot.

"So am I." everyone says except Luke. We all glare at him, waiting for an answer. He stares back at us, taking a minute to think about it.

"Okay, fine!" Luke throws his hands in the air from frustration and rolls his eyes, finally giving in.
