I woke up to a worried look on Mr. Seriello's face. "Boy you done knocked the breath out ma body! What happened,"he asked. Honestly, I had no idea what happened. I just went from punching the bag to waking up on the cold ass floor.
"I think I got so angry that I blacked out." He looked at me and nodded as if he understood exactly what I meant.
"Well are you going to sit there and act like you done seen the Holy Ghost or get back up and continue letting that anger and hate you have bottled inside of you stream into punches on that bag."
"Don't be so damn poetic just help me get back." We laughed as he helped me back.

"So are there any boxing teams still going on now or something," I asked as Mr. Seriello drove my sore body home as the sky changed from light blue to different hues and swirls of orange and pink.
"Yes. Why? Thinking about joining a boxing team after one of punching a bag and collasping onto the floor after a rage fit," he said as he drove and took a second to look at me. "I'll think about jooking you up with my brotha James "Bar" Carter."
"Bar is his real name?"
"No it's his nickname because he got a a bar on his left nipple," he said while cackling.
"You're brotehrs sounds weird," I responded while drowning out any of his other storeies and looking out the window to let y imaginations run wid.
Before I met her, I wanted to become an oncologist. Or at least I thought so. My dad died from colon cancer when I was . He was a strong fighter and I wanted to become an oncologist in memory of him. I thought that if I became one that I could help others in the way I couldn't help him when he was alive. We passed Ballicio Public Library on 5th avenue and I rembered the first time I ever met her.
*FLASHBACK*
And Jace ran away home to find himself alone again in his house the way he sadly liked it. He was still at the door when he was still panting because he was running away from Mason Davis's dog, who lived down the street in the house with a bright yellow door with a black number 4 on it. That pitbull almost always chased home after school everyday but Mason didn't care nor did Jace's mom when he came one day with a bump on his head the size of baseball, which he did got from a jock who decided to use him as a punching bag that day.
" Wow, you type with lightning speed but why come to the library to make a book than read one," a unfamiliar voice asked me. Her voice pratically sang it's way to my ears and made me want to whip around to find the person who had this voice. So I did turn around to meet the most gorgeous girl ever.
"Take a pic it'll last longer," she said. Probably becuase it had been like 5 minutes since I was staring at her and hadn't responded yet.
"Sorry, you're just really gorgeous and my thoughts are all over the place and words are flowing faster and faster out of my mouth because I'm not thinking. And the color of your eyes are-" I blabbered and she interuppted me.
"I just want to know about your book. I love reading but all the books here are just boring and alike in someway, Maybe you'll be the author who interests me and make me want more, '" she said then winked. I blushed so hard that if someone from far away saw me they'd think I was a cherry.
"Well I write becuase it helps me with my emotions when I feel like nobody understands me which feels like always ever since my dad died."
"Oh I'm sorry. Do you want to make a career out of it? I;d love to read your first book."
"I don't think so. I feel like it's really inadequate and amateurous."
"Inadequate to who?? Has anyone else besides you ever read it?'
"No but my dad and he was an English professor and said that if I kept praticing I'd get better and maybe become a real author."
"Well let me read it first and help you a little. I mean if you want me to," she said and I let her. She came in a little closer and took the mouse to scroll up. I could feel her body heat as she was hovered over me and smell her vanilla coconut perfume. She read it for a few minutes.
" Wow it's really good but I'd love to read the rest of what you've got so email it to me please," she said as she typed in her email address. "Don't be scared to email me about anything else." She kissed me on the cheek and left. Then I saw that she left a book, Forgive me, Leonard Peacock. I was going to return it to the front desk when I looked at it and saw that it didnt have the library sticker on it that showed what genre it was and the first three letters of the author's name. So I decided to keep it as reason to see her again.
I went home and for the first time I didn't feel like I was going back to the hell hole that reminded me of my father every second. I actually felt okay and thought that I could get through it.
*************************FLASHBACK OVER
I enetered the house to hear chatting in the dining room, then a roar of laughter. I guess the amazing family thought that Dominic was such a comedian.
" Honey come eat, your food is going to get cold," my mom yelled.
I enetered the room and it got really silent.
"Wow I feel so welcomed," I said.
"You are but your awful natural musty smell isn't," Serenity said.
"Serenity be quiet. He was working out and it's fine I want to eat as a full family," my mom said.
"We all know he hasn't been the same since he met that girl and now she broke up with him and he's acting like a depressed teenage girl," Jacob said.
I got up and punched him and kept punching him as Dominic tried to pull me back.
" I didn't allow Mr. Seriello to take you boxing so you can punch my son," my mom said as she held Jacob in her arms as if he was dying. He was fine and smirked as he held onto her like he was hurt.
"Your son right. Because he's more your son that me."
She sighed and said," I didn't mean it like that."
I didn't care anymore and I just went upstairs without saying anything else. I hate it here and it's like when I do decide to stay with my "family" it always turns into drama. It's kind of hard for us to have a happy family night. I have two brothers and two sisters. I'm the oldest then it's the twins: Sage and Serenity. After them my mom and dad got divorced. He fell out of love he told my mom and it affected me a lot at the age of 4 but it was fine because at least my dad was still in my life. Afterwards, my mom met Dominic and had Jacob. Mason Drake Santiago came along 4 years ago and I actually like him the most. Probably because he's too young to actually understand what's happening.
There was soft knock and I asked who it was.
"Deebo and Snake," said Drake. I let him in and Snake jumped on me and started licking my face.
"I brought you some spaghetti alle vongole for your thoughts." I looked at him with a confused face. "I heard you one day talking to her and you said a penny for your thoughts, but I'm broke so here's food." I started laughing and couldn't stop. I took the food and ate it as he told me how his day went and answered his questions. After a while he began to fall asleep then before falling asleep he asked why the girl left and what her name was.
"She left just as mysteriously as she came so she doesn't get a name. She's no name."
He said "mhm" and his breathing pace slowed a little demonstrating that he fell asleep.
