Authors note:
Hi guys! I'd like to start off this chapter by saying thank you. It's absolutely unreal to be that within these first few chapters I've gained so many friends and so much support. It makes me both proud and relieved at the same time. I was so nervous about making this book but from the beginning I've had al your love and support and that's the best to me. Also, I apologize for how long it took me to get this up. I have been going through some personal issues and I just didn't have the time to work in the book, by I'm going to get back in the swing of things now, so new chapters every weekend again!! Anyway, enough rambling from me. Here's chapter 20!

Brad's POV

"Maria and I will follow you over there, make sure you're not being tailed by whoever it was that's done this." Dan says to me while sitting the bag that he carried down from the flat in my trunk.

"Sounds good, brother. Thank you again." I turn towards the officer.

"We're just doing our job, kiddo. I know it's hard to protect your family from someone that doesn't have a face to you at this point. It's frustrating for us as well. We don't like watching you guys go through this." He pats his hand on my shoulder, "we're going to find whoever it is, though. They're testing the bottles right now, at the lab." I almost don't want to find out who it is because then I'll be going to jail.

"Sounds good" I smile, trying to rush this conversation along.

"Alright, lets get you home to the wife" he laughs.

"Jesus. This is never going to end" I raise my hands and shrug my shoulders up.

"Nope. It's not" Maria shouts as her and Dan jump in the patrol car.

The drive to Kylie's house is always a nerve wrecking one. The only time I go here is when there's something wrong. Not intentionally either. We're just always at home. We never have a reason to come here.

As I pull into this familiar parking spot, my nerves begin to settle. It's like I can feel her presence. I quickly turn off the car and head to the trunk to get Kylie and I's things. Maria and Dan pull in shortly after me and Maria rolls down her window. "There was a print found on the bottles. We're gonna go back to the station and see if we can't find the guy. Call us if anything happens, okay?"

"Yeah! Yeah, great! I'll tell Kylie!" I smile and wave them off. I practically run up the stairs to Kylie's mums house. I go to knock but she must have heard me running up the stairs because she opens the door before my fist can connect with it. She grabs the bag out of my hand and pulls it inside, while I grab the other off the porch. "How are you doing, babe?"

"I'm fine. I was just shook up. How are you?" She says, plopping herself down on the couch.

"Where's James?" I ask before anything.

"I sent them home." Of course she did.

"They were supposed to stay with you, though. What if something would have happened?"

"Nothing did. So it doesn't matter." She giggles. I don't want to argue about something silly like that, though I don't like that she went against what I had told her.

"You're right," I agree. "Maria just told me they found prints on one of the bottles. They're going to find the guy right now." Her face instantly lights up at my words.

"Really?!" She puts her hands together and smiles behind them.

"Would I joke about that?" I smile back at her.

"Who was it?" She responds.

"I'm not sure. They just said they found some prints and that they were gonna go to the station." I don't know if I want to know who it was. I might kill him. The car isn't a big deal, the bottles outside me flat were annoying but nothing I couldn't just pick up and throw in the bin, but messing with me girl? You're crazy if you think I'm going to let that slide. Things have been bloody mental around here as is and this asshole is only making it worse.
