"Hey babe," Kylie shouts from the bushes by our door. "They left more bottles out here." It takes me a moment to register what bottles she's talking about but once I realize that they left more beer bottles outside, it pisses me off more than anything. I ought to find out who it is and start putting them on their front door. Why do you choose to leave them over here? We're 10 feet away from a garbage bin.

"These people must party a lot." I respond while locking the car door and walking over to her. I don't want to make it seem like it's a bigger deal than it is. She doesn't need to deal with anything else. We've both had enough excitement for the rest of our lives.

"Who parties on a Monday night?" She mumbles, walking into the flat. That's true. Heaven help the lad that's going through cases of beer every night.

"Lonely people" I respond. It's true. Lonely people don't get to look forward to coming home to their beautiful girlfriends, waiting to watch movies or read books with them. They look forward to taking away the pain.

"Well.." she pauses "I understand that but why leave your empty beer bottles on our front lawn. Our place is being watched by the police and I'm underage. They're gonna get us in trouble." Her use of the word "our" in that sentence distracted me from the fact that we had an actual problem here.

"I'll go talk to them tomorrow when we're finished with class." I walk over to my beautiful girl and tuck a the hair that had fallen in her face behind her ear. She giggles and kisses my cheek.

"Okay. I'll clean them up this time."  She says pulling off her heels.

"You sure?" I respond. "We could do other productive things with out time" I wink at her.

"Yeah. They're annoying me." It's a mess. Of course it's annoying her. She slides on her vans and walks out the door. She pops her head back in and sings "besides, we have all night to do that" she blows a kiss then dips back out the door. God, I love that girl.

I'm on my way to my room when I hear what sounds like a crashing sound followed by Kylie screaming my name. I swear, my feet have never moved so fast. One after another, my steps were getting longer and my speed was picking up until the moment I hit the door to get outside. I whip it open and rush over to Kylie, who is now clinging onto a green bottle, crouched down guarding her head. "What's happened?" I slur, trying to pick her up. It looks like she threw one of the bottles in the middle of the parking lot.

"Someone was walking towards me" her breathing is picking up, "he threw a bottle at me and when I screamed, the neighbor that was outside smoking.." she loses her voice, "and he just ran away"

"Who ran away?" I try to ask Kylie but she's now crying into my chest.

"Bradley," a familiar voice calls my name. "Brad, I've already called the police." My neighbor yells. "I saw the whole thing happen. He was coming straight at her."

"Who?!" I yell, not meaning to.

"I'm not sure. I've never seen him around here, but he threw one of the green bottles at her. The ones that have been laying outside your door." She panics trying to calm herself and still explain what happened.

"Will you please stay with her? I'm going to call my friend to come pick her up." I say and she tightens her grip on my shirt.

"Please don't leave me.." Her words were so soft spoken and dainty. She looks so weak and fragile, unlike her normal self.

"I'll never leave you." I say into her hair. I turn to my neighbor and say "will you please run up to my door and inside is a bench, my phone is laying on it. Will you grab it and bring it to me?" She quickly nods yes and runs up to my flat. I turn my head back down to my beautiful girl who's fingers have turned white from gripping onto my shirt. "Up we go, come on Kye." We slowly stand and I pick her up and carry her over to the car.
