Kylie's POV.
"I can't believe both your parents know about the baby now!" James exclaimed while he plucked the strings on his guitar.
"I can't believe you lived through telling them." Connor adds. "Jokes. I knew they'd be excited for you." He smiles.
"Very funny. Enough about that though, I wanna play some musiccc." Brad says in a funny voice.
"Yeah, that's okay. Kylie and I are gonna go for a walk anyway. Talk about girl stuff and things." Kirstie shakes her head in a sassy way and stands up. I stand up behind her and walk out of Tris' garage.
"Love you!" Brad screams at me before we turn the corner to walk around the side of the house.
"Love you more." I shout back.
Kirstie and I walk in the yard for a bit until we reach the picnic bench that's sat in the middle of the grass.
"So you've had quite the week. How are you liking England?" Kirstie asks me.
"Actually, I love it. It's so different than LA." I tell her.
"Yeah. It's kind of shit in my opinion but that's because I've lived here forever." We both laugh and she continues. "So how have you been feeling?"
"It's different. The morning sickness isn't fun. But pregnancy isn't treating me very bad at all." I smile.
"James told me about what happened at school. With that boy, Landon. What's going on with him." She asks. I haven't thought about Landon besides the few missed calls and texts I've gotten from him making sure I'm okay and apologizing for what he did.
"I don't know to be honest with you. I feel like everything with Brad and I just moved so fast and then he jumped in the picture and things just kind of escalated."
"I thought he was dating that twat, Mila?" She asks.
"Apparently he broke up with her for me even though I've been worth Brad practically since the moment we laid eyes on each other."
"Yeah. That's true. You guys did get together pretty fast. You'd think he'd respect the love you two have for each other. Especially now that you're all prego." She laughs.
"I don't think anyone at school knows besides Bri, Brad, and I. I still don't know that he'd stop if he knew. It's odd." I say.
"Well he doesn't sound like a very good friend then." She replies.
"I know. That's what I tried to tell him before I fainted. That we couldn't be friends anymore but he just kept begging for me to forgive him." I tell her.
"Well forget him. You don't need that negativity in your life anyways." She says. I can hear the boys playing their songs inside the garage.
"I agree." I reply.
We talk for a while about going back to LA and her life and then make our way back into the garage.
"There they are." Con says.
James smiles at Kirstie and walks over to her to plant a small kiss on her cheek. Tris is on his phone, per usual, and con is smiling at me.
"Where's Brad?" I ask.
The boys all look at each other and then finally James says, "he had to take a call. He'll be back in a moment." They all shake their heads in agreement. Something seems off but I choose to ignore it.
"So how are you feeling?" Con asks me. Connor has quickly became one of my close friends.
"Good." I reply. "I'm past the initial shock of it all, and now that brads parents know, it's just excitement."
"Does your mum know?" He asks.
"I don't really talk to my mom anymore." I play with my bottom lip between my teeth.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I forgot." He shakes his head in embarrassment and rubs his hand over his face.
"It's okay," I reassure him, "it's not your fault."
"Well, I'm glad you're excited. We're all excited as well. Having a little brad running around will be loads of fun." He chuckles. I wonder where brad is. It's unlike him to leave without telling me.
"It'll be something." I laugh with him.
Twenty minutes go by and still no sign of Brad, which kind of sucks because I'm getting very tired. James and Kirstie left about five minutes ago and tris went in to take a shower, so it's just Con and I sitting in the garage.
"Is everything okay with Brad?" I ask. I can't help getting a bit worried.
"Yeah, Yeah. He just had a call to take." His posture changes. He looks a bit tense now and he's began playing with the bracelets on his wrist.
"A thirty minute call?" I narrow my eyes at him.
"Yeah. I'm not sure. Sorry." He's very short with me. "I've got to get going though. I'll see you soon, okay?"
"Okay. Goodnight." I say and he walks out of the garage.
Another ten minutes goes by and brad still isn't here. I wish Tris didn't live so far from Brads parents house or I'd just walk back.
Brads POV.
"Alright, but I want to see you while you're home." Her voice rings through the phone.
"Please just stop it. My girlfriend is here, literally here. We can't speak after this." I tell her. I can't do this to Kylie. She doesn't deserve it.
"That didn't stop you last time, B." She says. I hate when she calls me that.
"That was different and you know it. But I've got to go. I've been on here far too long." I'm sure Kylie is wondering what is going on and I'm positive she's not going to be happy with me.
"I'll see you around." She says. "I always do."
I don't even answer. I just hand up the phone and begin downstairs to try to find Kylie. It doesn't take me long. She's sat in the garage looking at her phone.
"There you are! I've been waiting for like an hour. Everyone left. They said you had a call you had to take." She says.
"Uh yeah. Yeah I just had something I had to handle." I reply trying not to lie to her.
"Well who was it? Is everything okay?" She asks.
Fuck.
