Catherine's Pov

Aiden mind-linked Jason and we met him in Aiden's office, it was a big office with a large cherry wood desk, and a very comfortable looking black chair behind it, it had a bookcase wall and a couch over in the corner. 

"So what's up" Jason asked when he entered. I looked at him, the two of us look a like we both have blue eyes and black hair. I tilted my head, I remember the good memory's from when I was small before we were put into foster care. But I don't remember any werewolf stuff.

"how am I human and you a werewolf?" I asked him, he stared at me for a moment and sighed.

"You remember our parents went missing right?" I nodded my head for him to continue "you probably don't remember the pack we grew up with"

"We grew up with a pack?" I looked at him surprised, He nodded sadly, I don't remember that at all.

"there was a really bad rouge attack, it wiped out our entire pack, Mom and Dad's bodies were never found" I nodded feeling sad.

"why don't I remember?" I asked

"You were 7 at the time, I protected you when we were picked up by human social workers" He sighed before continuing "they kept us apart for weeks, and when we were finally together I realized you didn't know what had happened"

I stared at him for a good minute processing what he said, It didn't make sense to me, why I didn't remember that night at all.

"But to answer your question, Our mom was human, so your half wolf and half human, you just have more human DNA so you won't shift or have a wolf"

Aiden and I were sitting on the porch swing in front of his house playing 20 questions, his idea to take my mind off of everything I had learned in the last couple of days, it has been working so far. 

I smile as he scrunches up his face, telling me a story as to why he hates olives so much, I shake my head as he keeps making that face even after finishing the story. 

"So have you given any though to being my mate?" He tilted his head to the side and smiled nervously, I sigh as I had given it a lot of though and I truly believe i wouldn't be able to be away from Aiden again, not after how he's been taking care of me the last few days. 

"I have given it some thought" I met his eyes, and started getting lost in them, I smiled when he face fell from me taking forever to answer him , the worst thoughts making there way into his head.

"Yes i'll give the mate thing a chance" His face lit up so fast and the next thing I knew he had me sitting on his lap with his arms around me, the biggest smile on his face, as he pressed his nose into my neck. He planted a soft kiss on my sweet spot that caused a little moan to escape.

I insistently blushed and looked up to see him smirking, I pouted and moved so I was facing him, causing a low growl to leave his perfect lips, now it was my turn to smirk. He looked at me and smiled.

"how about I take you on a date tomorrow?" I smiled and nodded mt head, he looked at my lips, I could tell he wanted to kiss me but was holding himself back. He lifted me up and set me on my feet, making me frown and confused, why didn't he kiss me? 

"I want our first kiss to be really special, like our first date should be" I nodded smiling, he's so sweet, he leaned down and kissed my cheek before pulling me inside for super. Jason glared at Aiden when we entered the room, than his eyes landed on our hands intertwined and he glared harder at Aiden.
