Chapter Two

Aiden's POV

I stormed into my office, with my beta - Jason - right behind me.

"I've looked everywhere," I grumbled.

"I know dude," Jason said, "you will find her."

I just nodded. I've been looking for my mate for two years and I still haven't found her. I'm almost ready to give up, but my wolf - Alexander - won't let me.

"Okay, so a change of subjec?" Jason said. "There's a human girl that's moving here."

Oh yeah, I forgot about the human foster kid. One of the human families that live in town, who honestly shouldn't be fostering kids. She'll be here today I think and starts school tomorrow.

"Yeah, what about her?" I asked. Jason has this thing about saving people from bad foster homes... probably has something to do with his foster past.

"Dude that family shouldn't be fostering people. They only want the money," he said annoyed with me.

"Yeah, I know and I did talk with her case worker, but she won't believe me. So I can't do anything," i said simply.

That caused Jason to  storm out of my office, I sighed.

"Can we go look for our mate, please?" Alexander asked. I sighed again.

"Not right now," I replayed. I've been to almost all the packs around her, looking for her and I still haven't found her.

I headed to my room to get ready for school. Running my hand through my messy black hair, I look into my bedroom mirror. My green eyes stand out against my black hair, and I pull on a grey shirt that sticks to my eight-pack, it shows off my muscles. I pair it with dark blue jeans and headed to school.

The only reason I'm here today is because of the game I have after school. Yeah, I play football and basketball. I have a football game today and I can't wait.

"Hey babe," I turned to see Cindy - the school's resindent slut - behind me. She's human, so i can't really tell her to leave me alone.

"I told you. Don't call me that," I said to her, as she tried to put her arms around me. I side-stepped her and walked away. One more hour and I can play football. I walked into class, hoping it would end quickly.

------------------------------------------------After the football game---------------------------------------------------------

"Good job Alpha," I heard one of my teammates and packguards say.

"Thanks," I said before going to shower, change, and head home. After my shower I got in my car and drove home. I walked into the kitchen, where my mom and my little sister were.

"Hey mom," I said, hugging her.

"Hi, how was the game?" she asked. I ruffled Poppy's, my little sister, hair.

"It was good, we won," she smiled and nodded. My sister smiled at me too.

"Well, i'm heading to bed," i said, "night." With that, I went upstairs and plopped onto my bed, where I quickly fell asleep.
