I'm still surprised and a little bit skeptical about this whole ordeal. But... If Lucas is able to be so serious about something, then it must have at least some credibility.
And the fact that they're taking me to see the co-host of the entire tournament is also a bit unnerving, to say the least. They wouldn't go through so much effort for a measly prank.
Ness pushes the front doors open and navigates his way around the Mansion. Quite knowingly, in fact. It's no surprise, though. He has lived in it for about a year and a half.
Ness briskly walks past the Miis, who pay him little to no attention, until we finally reach Crazy Hand's door. He knocks three times before being answered with a voice.
"Come in!" Crazy's voice calls. Ness, Lucas and I shuffle in and take our seats.
"I'm gonna take a guess and say you already know why we're here with Megaman?" Ness asks. My mouth forms a straight line. Not in annoyance, nothing like that. More like... In an unbelieving manner.
"You're here to prove that you're right to Megaman?"
"Well, yeah, but we also have an idea." Ness admits.
"Oh?" She asks, curiously.
"We were thinking that he could help you out with making a teleporter."
"For?"
"For getting into the place where the people are getting taken to."
"Hmm. That's a delicious idea. Rock? Would you like to work with me?" She asks me. Okay, first of all, how did she know my name?
"Sure. But, how'd you know my name?" I ask her.
"We've got files on all the fighters here. I like to read them in my spare time." She tells me. That's a bit stalkerish. I decide to let it go.
"Alright, so... Where're the blueprints?"

Ness
"Alright, I'll leave you two to nerd out over machines and junk. I'm gonna go do my battles." I tell them, leaving. Lucas follows beside me as we walk to The Stadium.
"Do you get why people say we're the same?" I ask Lucas.
"I can s-see where they're coming from. W-We use the same moves, almost." He tells me.
"Yeah, but not the same type of moves. Our PK Fires, PK Thunders and PSI Magnets are very different. And you're way better at using PK Freeze than I am." I explain. He nods.
"Thanks." He smiles lightly. Shortly after, we arrive at The Stadium. I check the times and it seems I've missed a battle against R.O.B. I'm up in a few battles, though. In my defence, I don't really care anymore.
I hear footsteps behind me and I turn to face them. They're coming from inside the storage room. A pat Lucas's shoulder and he turns to see what I'm doing. He listens carefully to the door, too.
"Should we go in?" I ask him with a whisper. He glances around before nodding. In response, I take out my loaded keychain and find the key. I unlock the door and we enter.
I softly close the door behind me and we explore.
Before long, we find both Wario and Mario in the room with us. They're holding what I feel like is a bomb. It's a large sphere with a large red X on the front of it.
Wario grins and they both pull, opening it up. It reveals a countdown. 20 hours. It begins beeping quietly and counting down.
"No!" I yell, grabbing Wario and trying to pull him away. He slaps me away and I scramble back to my feet and start hitting him. He just ignores me and holds onto the bomb.
Lucas is frozen in fear, but soon helps me and begins hitting Mario. They don't react.
"We need to go. Now." I tell Lucas, grabbing his wrist and running back to the mansion. We need to get Crazy Hand or Master Hand or anyone.
-
"-And there's this bomb thing with a twenty hour timer on it and I don't know what it is but I know that it's dangerous."
"I might be able to defuse it." Rock offers. Crazy Hand shakes get head after a moment.
"You can't defuse those. Not unless you can get the bombers off. And that can take days." She explains.
"Then what can we do? How bad is this bomb?" I ask.
"Well for starters, you must calm down. We have a deadline now, and we need to get this teleporter done ASAP. Secondly, this bomb can probably take out your entire hometown. So we have to work quickly." She opens a drawer that a bunch of blueprints rest nicely in. She takes them out and absurd E the across the table, searching through them.
I see many familiar things, like the respawn platform, the shield projector, the gravity editor, the border creator... Then there's other things I don't recognise. Like a large gun, and-
She puts them all back into the drawer and leaves the teleporter out.
"Rock, follow me. We're going to the lab. Lucas, Ness... Get your friends and take them here. We're going to take him by storm." Crazy tells us, leaving her office. Rock follows her while Lucas and I quickly rush back to the house.

"I know that you understand just about everything here. I leave you to your own devices for now, I need to talk to my brother." Crazy says, leaving me in her lab. There are so many pieces of machines and robots scattered around that intrigue me. Strange spheres, glowing rectangles, and other pieces of various shapes and sizes. I snap out of it and start piecing together the teleporter.
-
It's like some kind of strange puzzle, each piece perfectly clicking into the other. I turn a piece and it clicks and begins to make a whirring sound. It glows and begins floating a few feet off of the ground.
"Now all we need is a piece from the dark place." Crazy says from behind me, making me jump. "Do you think Lucas would work? He is half there, half here."
I shrug in response. "Is he? There's a chance he would work then... What would happen if it didn't work?"
"He would go back to his home... Tazmily, was it? But if it works properly, then he should go to that place."
"Okay..." I say, glaring at the teleporter.
I sure hope it works, otherwise this whole tournament is going to die.
