The Memory

Really? Was that really all I could have said? I just walked away. More like a quick jog, I jogged straight back to my room and fell onto my bed.

Why was I so nervous it’s just a boy? It was just Ary. I do know him. My mind soon filled with thoughts of how I knew him. His voice, his eye, his lips. “HIS LIPS!” I screamed and then looked around it see if Sunny had come into the room. My room was still empty so I was okay.

I know where I know him from. His brother. I dated a Hufflepuff last year. His name was Loan. He was tall, sweet and he was the perfect boyfriend. Until I found out that he was kissing Zahra under the stairs late at night. He broke my heart so to speak. But I broke his reputation. It’s all fair in love and war.

I haven’t spoken to Lo since he left Hogwarts last year and even before that it was only light little chats to keep the air clear.

16months ago

“Loan” I screamed down the train tracks. A tall dark figure turned around and a shorter figure hid behind him. “I missed you” I ran up to the figures and jumped onto the taller person and kissed him. “I was going to write but my holiday was so busy with so many guys” I gave him a little wink and got down. He took my hand and we started to walk to the train.

“Well I heard you  have a boyfriend. I’m not such he would enjoy hearing about all the guys chasing your cute little ass” His hand left my hand and pinched my bum, which in turn made me jump up into the air. Loan then kissed my cheek and pulled me into his chest. “I missed you to babe.” His deep voice was just like an angels. Soft and sweet.

Going forward 4 weeks.

Me and Loan are having problems, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. We are as close as we once were. I got up and went to walk down the hall for air. I saw people kissing under the stairs which I thought was really cute.

I walked closer to see who they were as I’m nosy I then saw Zahra. She got a boyfriend and didn’t tell anyone. This was something new! Zahra can’t keep a secret unless it’s really big. As I got closer I start to see the boy. He was tall, but his hood was up so I could tell who it was.

Zahra then pulled it off of him. I couldn’t do anything I just froze. A tear rolled down my face. “Loan” I whimpered. I now understand why he was so distant. It wasn’t me after all. I was worrying for days that I had done something wrong. But it was him all along. Loan and Zahra both faced me.

“Laura it isn’t what you think” He said. His voice of an angel just made more tears fall down my face.

I then became angry and started to shout “Oh no it isn’t. Please explain then. Because what I see is two half naked people making out under the stairs. One my boyfriend the other one of my closest friends” okay that was a lie. I only hanged round with her because my dad likes her. Soon a crowd had formed and I was having a metal break down. My brothers ran over to me, Fred picked me up and Albus went over to Loan, then before I knew it Loan had a bloody nose. I think I black out for a moment because I was in my room with Fred, Albus and Sunny by my side.

That’s where the memories stop.
