I've seen monsters

I've danced in their beds

I've been drowned by my demons,

Got away, and chopped off their heads

I've cried myself to sleep at night,

I've considered suicide

I've prayed my little heart out

I've been torn up and torn apart on the inside,

Someone was there to pull me in, to lift me from the high tide

Whether it was God,

A close friend,

Or a neighbor, that knew me well, all that aside —

Hero's come in many forms, not all of them wear capes

Some hero's live right inside your own head

Sometimes we can't count on others, we have to count on ourselves, instead

Believe it or not, you do count for something

Believe it or not, you are my hero

You've made it this far, don't let go now

You've come this far, let us see it through now

Whether you feel strong or not, there is a strength in you that this world
needs

So if you're anything like me, don't give up on yourself,
Please
