Judgment

Sometimes when I'd look around all I'd get is stares,

but I could never tell the kind looks from the glares.

I'd constantly needed repair,

on my self-esteem whenever it would tear.

But now the face of confidence is always what I wear,

so more will I care,

for the words or actions you dare,

I can't hear your judgment over the volume of my hair.
