I wake up to the sound of my phone going off by my couch. Caleb hasn't been home much and my parents are on a business trip. There is a note beside my phone:

Good morning, beautiful. I went home after you passed out. I put some clothes out in your room and set your alarm so you wouldn't be late for school. I couldn't bare to wake you up and move you to your room. I love you.<3
-Peter

I wish I could say that I genuinely love Peter. He is amazing. He's the perfect guy. I don't know what I feel towards Four. I don't even know if I like him as more than a friend. I'm so confused.

I shake my head to clear my thoughts and I walk upstairs. My clothes are on my bed and everything was cleaned for me. He truly is perfect. Is that not good enough? When I kiss him, it doesn't feel right. It used to feel like they could fit together. Puzzle pieces. Side by side. Now, we are pieces to two separate puzzles.

I finish getting dressed and I pull my hair out of it's short pony tail. It's wavy and seems as if it's gotten longer over night. I love the new look. I go to get in my car but the engine doesn't turn on. I try again but nothing. I'm going to need a ride from Four. This makes me nervous, but I walk across our shared yard and knock on his door. He quickly answers and a smile flashes over his handsome face.

"Good morning, number girl!" I laugh at the nickname.

"And to you, number boy! I need a ride. Car troubles in this paradise."

"It's no Porsche but my Honda Accord should satisfy the ride, right?" I laugh and nod. He smiles in response.

Four grabs my bags and throws them in the back seat. He runs to the open front door and grabs his bag off of the side table. He shuts the door and runs back to the car. He throws his bag next to mine and gets in the driver's seat. Before he turns on the car, he looks at me.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing," he says with a smile.

"You're a weirdo."

"Then add that to the list of names for me."

"Can I know your real one?" I raise my eyebrow, hoping he will tell me.

"Only...if you tell me yours." I scoff.

"Guess." He takes one hand off of the wheel to tap his chin and furrow his brows.

"Trina?" I shake my head.

"Trouble Maker?" I laugh at him and shake my head. He parks his car and lets his head fall to the wheel. It honks the horn and he groans. "I don't know," he whines. I laugh and we get out of the car.

He's sweet and cute. He's just- I need to stop! I'm with Peter. But do I love Peter? Do I even like Four? I don't know what this feeling is. It's this strange feeling that happens when I'm around him. I don't recognize it. Confusion. That is what we will call it for now.

I get out of the car and Four runs around the front of it. He walks beside me, shoving me as we get to class.

"Tell me."

"You tell me yours." He groans and shoves me again.

We walk down the crowded hall, but I notice something that I hadn't noticed before. All of the girls are staring at me with hatred in their eyes. They flick their eyes between me and Four. I suddenly realize that I haven't seen Four with a girl since my first ever week at DCHS. These girls must think we are together. I don't know if I'm happy or sad about this. Confused. I'm confused.

"So," I say to Four, "who's the latest girlfriend?" He wipes away his smile and scratches his neck.

"There hasn't been one," he says quietly.
