Third Person POV

They had a plan. Hazel's plan, Percy and Annabeth would use it.

Annabeth was bound and gagged, having been chloroformed, in no condition to fight. Percy was defeating monsters left ,right and centre, while Kronos looked on in horror. An empousai turned to Kronos and said: "Flee, master." Before a bronze tip cut through her chest, leave her to turn to gold dust.

Percy was hardened by anger. They dared touch his Annabeth, his Wise Girl, his lifeline. They dared. Annabeth looked on in pride, horror and fear. This was a very seldom seen Percy, angry and powerful. But she was slowly being tortured, the ropes cutting into her skin, her vision becoming increasingly hazy and dim. They had caught her while sleeping with Percy, and Percy had torn down Manhattan looking for her.

When the last Monster was destroyed, Percy turned to Kronos, power and adrenaline coursing through him.

Kronos was scared. Desperate for success, he played his last card, the one he would only resort to use in dire circumstances. Not because of the death, but watching how it would happen.

"Percy Jackson!" Kronos yelled." You have destroyed my army, and defeated my brethren. You have not won! I give you a choice, but you must be careful....." Percy looked on, defiant, the plan slowly becoming the only solution, as much as he despised it.

"Either you kill this Daughter of Athena yourself, and watch everyone else be safe, or I torture you and hold you while I slaughter every single Friend and family you have in front of your eyes!"

Annabeth choked,  and Percy knew what he had to do. Kronos had given him a very difficult choice. Kill his lifeline, Wise Girl, his Annabeth, and watch everyone be safe, or be tortured and watch everyone he cared about die, while he watched helplessly,

He thrust his hand out towards Annabeth. His eyes asked, Do we really want to do this?

Her eyes answered : Yes, its for the good of everyone.

They put the plan into motion.

Percy clenched his fist, and Annabeth began to choke, again, she turned blue, the ropes slowly tightening, and after Kronos began to cover his eyes at the gory scene, Annabeth slumped, motionless, all the life in her gone.

Blood bending.

Percy made some motion with his hand, and Annabeth dissolved into a grey Essence that Percy absorbed.

He turned towards Kronos, who was now smiling evilly.

"Ha, did you really think I would spare your pathetic demigod friends?"

"No, but look at me now, Kronos, and tell me did you think that I would kill her?"

Percy smiled, cruelly, as Kronos shrunk back at the power in his sea green eyes, now emitting a gray glow, in honor of the person Kronos ordered him to kill.

"That matters not! I will kill you slowly and painfully as I watch on, and your friends will die at my hands, whi-"

A celestial bronze tip pushed through his Achilles spot, the same one that it used to be. Kronos' eyes widened, as the last thing he saw was a blur of blonde hair, before his Essence was scattered into Tartarus.

Annabeth tackled Percy in a hug. "Thank the gods it worked." She said.

Percy nodded, before kissing her passionately on the lips, and they walked out into the sunset, Annabeth in Percy's arms.
