Jessica Harks POV

The beautiful black hair, tousled to perfection , the achingly gorgeous sea-green eyes filled with pain, broken glass, and the Long, lean muscular Tan body, with a swimmer's build.

It was my dream boy, Percy Jackson. But I knew it was hopeless, now. You want to know? We'll just keep reading, and you'll find your heart broken like mine was.

I was at my locker, when I heard the voice of the boy I hated the most, Greg Calwor. He sidled up to me and said,"Hey, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" I smirked. Opportunity to use sassiness, first used by Percy 'Persassy' Jackson himself.

"Yes, but it hurts more to look at your face." His jaw dropped open. I laughed and said,"Shut your mouth, you'll catch flies." He looked at me again, and went away with his group of jocks, casting longing looks at me.

Not to brag. But, I am fairly pretty. I have sky blue eyes and soft blond hair. My skin isn't so bad, there's a couple of pimples, but I don't bother using foundation or make up. It's just me, and I'm not going to be like Brittany Hare, who cakes her face in make up.

Speaking of the devil.................

"Hey ,hon." said Brittany. "What, Brit?" I said, knowing she despised that nickname.

"Oh nothing, just wanting to leave...." said a deep voice behind us. We whirled around to find Percy Jackson leaning on the lockers, looking as handsome as always.

(A/N This description is based off my life, so please bear with me. I do have a life outside Wattpad, so let's be real here, I am bound to base at least one thing off my experiences. It is from a book I read, BTW)

I stared at his eyes, and made eye contact. He grinned and shrugged, while I looked away, hoping he'd at least be a little bit more attentive to the longing looks I cast him, day by day, but not a sunrise or sunset went by with him noticing.

I wished he'd laugh with me, make jokes, and if I was looking even the tiniest bit sad or distracted, then have him wrap his arms around me, trying to console me.

I chided myself that maybe he was trying to hide feelings for me. (A/N Yeah right)

Brittany left, leaving Percy staring at the horizon, a star crossed look plain on his face. He was missing someone. Please be a relative you're missing, I prayed.

"Percy? You okay?" I asked.

"Oh yeah. Just.....thinking about someon-something." He said, shaking his head, and turning to his locker, the one next to mine. It was the end of the day, and he slid his backpack on, with his phone,(Monster proof), and a picture of eight teenagers standing together.

They looked like they had been though a war, but they were all smiling at the camera, arms slung around each other. I saw tears drip onto the phone, but I ignored it. He slid to the next photo, and my heart broke into two pieces.

It was a photo of Percy and a very pretty blonde girl, who looked intimidating and smart, but graceful and pretty. "That's Annabeth." Percy said when he noticed me looking. Annabeth was on Percy's back, and they were laughing.

I sent my prayers up again.

My heart almost broke again when I saw the next picture.

It was Annabeth and Percy kissing. On the bottom in a small print it read: Percabeth forever.

Percy shook his head again and said, smiling slightly, pointing to Annabeth,"She was my girlfriend."

I noticed the past tense, and my hopes began to rise, did they break up? I thought I might have a chance. Just suddenly, I burst out my words. "Percy, would you like to go out with m-"

I never finished, as a familiar blonde girl bounced onto Percy.

"Guess who!" The girl said. My heart dropped as she turned towards me. It was Annabeth.

"Wise Girl?" Percy said hopefully. "The one and only, Seaweed Brain." She laughed. Percy spun around and caught her in a kiss.

"What are you doing, Percy? I thought she wasn't your Girlfriend anymore?" I sputtered out in a heartbroken daze. "You're right, she isn't." Percy replied. Annabeth grinned as Percy kissed her cheek,"I'm his fiancée."

I looked on their fingers and couldn't believe I hadn't noticed, two diamond rings glittered. Tears began to come down my face,  as Percy turned away with his fiancée, talking about some camp.

As I ran to the bathroom, I bumped into someone. "Oh sorry!" A voice exclaimed. I looked up and was met with warm brown eyes. "Hey, its okay. I'm Jessica Harks by the way." I replied, looking into those eyes, and all my feelings for Percy evaporated. He was happy. I could find someone too. He stared at me, and I felt my face flush. "I'm Matthew Clower." The boy said.

We became friends.

From then on, i was friends with Percy and Annabeth. At the end of the school year, Matthew asked me out. I agreed. It was the best decision I've made in my life.

*5 years later*

I'm now married to Matthew, and my name is Jessica Harks-Clower. I have no children, but I'm content with just Matthew, my soulmate. I'm Glad I bumped into him all those years ago. Otherwise, i would've died when I saw Percy and Annabeth strolling down the path on that day, with two little children. A boy with blonde hair and sea green eyes, and black hair and grey eyes. The boys hair was untamed like Percy's, and the girl's curls like Annabeth's.

And that's how I met Percabeth, and how they helped me meet my soulmate.
