Chapter 14

Today was a down day, from the hangover I had, to me getting sick and I really miss Khloe. "I just remembered something," I chimed "mhm," Max mumbled, I then realised taking about it probably wasn't a good idea. "Never mind I forgot what I was going to say," I lied "ok," he laughed.

I got up and walked towards my room feeling tears spring my eyes at the thought of an amazing memory I just remembered, Khloe and I were in a bar drinking after just turning eighteen a few days before. We were chattering away and Khloe forgot what she was going to say, we were both drunk so we found it hilarious and used to laugh about it all the time. By now I'm crying, silent sobs escaping my mouth and so many memories that should make me happy flowing in my mind making it all worse.

"Liv come out here, I know your crying," a soft voice cooed on the other side of the door. "No I'm fine Max, just give me a minute," I said "I'm coming in," Max warned. He walked in and caught sight of my tear filled face "you never tell me anything, you can trust me and talk to me any time you want but choose not to, why?" He asked. "I...I don't know," I sobbed "I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked, forget I did, just come here," he strained. I slowly edged towards him and when I was close enough he pulled me into a comforting hug. "I miss the happy you, I know you've gone through so much but you let it all take over your life, Olivia you're so much stronger than it, be my happy girl again," he spoke. "I'll try, how about you start with making me pancakes," I laughed "there she is," he laughed and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.
