Chapter 9:

Continue Cal's POV:

     After we finished our homework it was time for dinner. We rush down the stairs almost falling down. I sit in my spot and Ash sits in his which is in front of mine. It was a big table so he was quiet the distance.

     Luke sat next to him. Him and I don't really talk that much he is usually angry all the time and can be very mean, so I don't bother him much. That new guy with the colored hair came down and sat next to me. I guess I should try being nice, cuz it's always nice to have more friends.

     "Hi, I'm Calum, what's yours?" I smiled friendly at him. "Oh, Hi, my name is Michael" I heard the shyness in his smile. As we ate I decided he was an actually cool person so I ended up letting him call me 'Cal' and he's letting me call him 'Mikey or Mike' which ever I preferred.

     After dinner we said goodbye and went our separate ways. I was smiling when I got to my room. Ash was there looking at me, "why you smiling so much" I sounded kinda jealous but why. "Because I now have a new friend his name is Michael, but I get to call him Mikey and Mike now" I smiled at Ash.

Ash's POV:

     I was waiting in mine and Cal's room to talk to him. We known each other for a while and my feelings have progressed over the 5 months I been here. I just hope he likes me and not that new kid. I hear him walk in and see him smiling.

     "Why you smiling so much" I say with a hint of jealousy in both my voice and eyes. He simply stated, "Because I now have a new friend his name is Michael, but I get to call him Mikey and Mike now" he smiled at me like it was no big deal.

     "Hey, Cal can we talk and trade a few secrets about ourselves with each other" I might as well start with this to see what he really is and if he likes me the way l like him. I looked a bit nervous but agreed anyways.

     We got on my bed and faced each other and began asking questions. At first they were silly like what our favorite colors, foods, and things like that to what our middle names were. Then we got to the more serious and personal questions

     "Why were you brought in here" I asked him first. He sighed, " It's complicated you see I am half demon and half human, I was brought here because l was very destructive and violent to everyone in my school and orphanage, so they brought me here," he said so sadly I felt bad. He asked me the same question and I replied, "Well it was mainly to help my brother he isn't much human either and he has a short temper and one thing lead to another with a student so we ended up here. Me on the other hand; I am a sorcerer that I inherited from my father."

     He seemed very intrigued and wanted to see me use my powers. So I chanted some words in Latin and flowers painted black appeared in my hands. I smiled and have them to him.

Back to Cal's POV:

     He made black painted flowers of roses appear and gave them to me. I started blushing taking them. "I love them there so beautiful" I giggled and leaned in and kissed his cheek not thinking at all. "O-oh it's n-no-nothin-gg" he stuttered as I realized what I did. "Oh I am so sorry I didn't..." I was cut off from him kissing my cheek.

     "I like you Cal and I have since that moment we exchanged names" Ash confessed to me. I was freaking the frack out that he felt the same way I felt towards him. Plus the fact he accepts me for being a demon at that. "You do, like are you sure" I ask for reassurance. He just smiled and lean in slowly and kissed me.
