It's a Friday thank the gods. I️ got up and made myself breakfast when I️ received a text from Cheryl

Cheryl 💗
morning :)) you want a ride to school?

Usually I️ would take her up on that offer cause because I️ love doing anything with her and her car is much more reliable then my bike. But I️ running late as is and the south side is a bit of a drive so I'm better of not making her late

I️ grab my things and run out the door and try to get to school as soon as possible

I️ run in and see her at my locker

"heyyyy I'm running so late I'm a mess" I️ say trying to get my things together
"Here let me help you" she takes some of my books and helps me gets everything into my locker and bag
"You ok" she says
"Yea I'm just flustered that's all. I️ uh got a lot of comments on the post last night. Everyone is really sweet. I️ mean theres a few immature boys here and there but it's pretty good" I️ say smiling
"Good. Because I'm throwing a party tonight. My mothers 'business trip' is taking quite long so I'm taking advantage" she says
"Sounds really fun" I️ say. Parties have never been my scene but I️ don't know I️t might be fun stepping out of my comfort zone
"I️ don't know if parties are really your thing. But I'd love if you'd come"
"I'll be there. Early" I️ say smiling
"Perfect. Good luck at class" she says and kisses me on the cheek. She waves and says "sit with us at lunch if you want" and blows another kiss as she runs off to her class

After chem, Spanish, history, and an algebra quiz I️ defiantly failed, I️t was time for lunch. I️ grab my food and head outside. I️ always sit with my serpent friends I️ just always do. Jughead never does since returning to riverdale high. I️ see Cheryl sitting next to Veronica. Who's next to archie. Who's across from Jughead and Betty. I️ decide why not and go over towards there table.

I️ walk over and Cheryl sees me and smiles
"Heyyy" she says and touches my hand "I'm glad you here"
I️ sit next to her and Kevin comes running up to us almost tripping and spilling his food
"RIVERDALE NEWEST GAYS IN THE FLESH WOOO" he says extremely enthusiastically as he sits across from us "I️ can't believe I️t. Well I️ can like my gaydar is on point but still"
"Kevin your gonna pass out slow down" Cheryl says
"Yea you want a double date or something. You know fangs really digs you" I️ say eating my fries
"You haven't asked him out yet!" Veronica asks Kevin
"No I️ just haven't had the chance I'm nervous alright. The last serpent I️ dated." He pauses and looks over towards me "no offense toni and jug . He helped dispose and body and skipped town so bad boys have kinda put a bad taste in my mouth"
"There not all bad" Cheryl says intertwining her fingers in mine
"Fangs is super smart and he's going places" I say. I'm not kidding. He's so smart. He's tutored me in math and history before "Did you know he has been cooking since he was eight. He makes the best food I've ever tasted. He's gonna be a chef"
"You ought to give Give him a chance" Jughead says
"You know what I️ am! Never would have done I️t without my fellow gays convincing me" he says. He gets up and puts his hands on me and Cheryl's shoulders "UGH I️ love the gays" he says skipping away like he's in some kind of kids movie
"Now he's a character" I️ say smiling "why haven't I️ talked to him before"
"He's honestly had bad blood with the serpents since Joaquin. But I think it's all good now" Betty says
"Well I️ bet he'll be bringing fangs to my party tonight. Which by the way is happening tonight" Cheryl announces to the table "spread the word everywhere bring you friends north and south it's gonna be the best party of the year" she says sipping her soda
"Even the serpents" Jughead says
"Hey im not sure if your on the instagrams 'weirdboy' but I'm dating a serpent so I'd like to get to know her friends" Cheryl says "I️ have a meeting with our chem teacher. See you all tonight." She kisses my cheek, waves, and walks away.
"Now how did this happen" Archie says Veronica hits his hand "are you stupid" she says
"I️ don't know. We ran into eachother again at school and then again at the movies then we went and got food and then we were friends and we hung out and then the feeling was mutual and it kinda just happened" I️ say
"You may be someone special I️ don't think I've ever seen Cheryl act this nice" Betty says
"True usually she'd be trying to destroy a relationship right about now" Jughead says
"Stop I️t jug she was hurting" I️ say
"Don't fuck with Cheryl cause if you fuck with cheryl your fucking with Toni too" Veronica says laughing
"I'm just protective" I️ say eating some fries
"So your going to a party for her" Jughead says "you don't even like parties"
"Stepping outside my comfort zone jug. Doing something for someone I️ care about because it's something they want. Take notes" I️ say
"Oooo shots fired" Archie says
"I️ do plenty" Jughead says
"Not really" betty whispers
"Alright well I'll excuse myself before this gets more awkward. See you all tonight" I️ say
