Toni's pov

After me Cheryl exited the closet was time for Kevin to spin the bottle. I'm glad Cheryl talked to me. I️ wasnt planning to take anything that far anyway but I'm glad she felt comfortable enough to tell me
Kevin spins and it lands on fangs
"Get I️t Kevin" moose yells
"We going in Keller" Fangs says getting up
"Uh yea yea" Kevin says dumbstruck
They go into the closet and we all wait around in the circle
"What is taking so long I️ want a turn" moose says
"What's the rush" Reggie says
"Nothing why would I want there to be a rush I️ I️ just wanna spin that's all" Moose stammers
"Did something happen between you and Kevin" Jughead says
"NO nothing happened nothing ok I️ just wanna spin the bottle" he says much more angry then before
Something defiantly happened
They come out of the closet with big grins on there faces and join the circle
Kevin comes to sit with me and Cheryl
"So how'd I️t go" I️ say
"Well we have a date next week and he's a magnificent kisser"
"That's awesome way to go Kevin"
Moose gives a glance towards fangs then grabs the bottle
"Your really on edge today buddy" says Reggie
He spins and I️t lands on Valerie
"Don't you have a girlfriend" she says
"We broke up" moose says.
He glances at Kevin before entering the closet

A few more rounds of the game are played then we go back to dancing and singing
I️ defiantly had a few to many drinks
It's approaching midnight and everyone is singing and dancing and I️ would say this party is extremely successful
"Fuck usually I️ never go to parties but this might have just changed my ways" I️ say to Cheryl
"It's fun I️ know right" she says giggling
"So did Kevin and Moose have a thing" I ask
"Something like that I️ think"
"How long do you keep this party going"
"Ehh until everyone leaves I️ guess"
"I️ think if I️ have another drink I'm gonna throwup So I️ think I'm gonna grab a water"
"Wait come here first"
She pulls me out of the crowd and into the foyer. I'm pushed against the wall and our lips meet. It's a matter of maybe three seconds before our lips are fighting for dominance. I️ tug at her bottom lip and she moans and moves her hangs down to my legs and lifts me up. We continue to kiss until a certain someone barges through the front door.
"WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY HOME" Penelope screams
I️ part from Cheryl and the rush of people come running from the living room and fleeing out the front door. I️ see the panic in Cheryl's eyes and I️ realize she is scared. The only person I️ think she's ever been scared of is her mother. After almost everyone ran out except me, Cheryl, and a few people passed out on the couch or having sex upstairs Penelope un folds her arms to slap Cheryl right across the face
"HOW DARE YOU DO THIS WHILE I️ WAS AWAY" she screams
"HEY DONT TOUCH HER" I️ move in front of Cheryl to try and shield her from her mother
"Don't talk to me that way you dirty piece of southside trash. I️ want this entire house spotless. Then you are grounded. Forever I️ guess" she walks upstairs and slams the door
"PEOPLE ARE HAVING SEX IN MY ROOM" she shouts and I️ see Veronica and Reggie run downstairs half naked and run out the door.
"CHERYL BLOSSOM I️ WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL YOU HEAR ME" she screams from the upstairs
tears fill Cheryl's eyes as she runs out the door. I️ follow behide her.
"Babe please come here" I️ shout to her as she continues to run away
"I️ can't toni. Everything and everyone that makes me happy is ripped away by my mother. I️ can't have her take you too just go"
"Cheryl"
"I️ said go"
She stoops down in front of the entrance gates of thorn hill. She puts her face in her hands. I️ can't leave her like this. I️ would never
"Cheryl I'm not going"
"Why do you even like me anyone. I'm a bitch"
"No your not"
I️ sit down next to her and put my arm around her shoulder
"You not a bitch. Sure sometimes you act bitchy but your an amazing person. You have a huge heart and you've been through so much. And I'm not going to let anything happen you you. I️ promise"
She cries and I️ hold her tighter
"Nothing. Ok nothing. I'll keep you safe" I️ re assure her
She stops crying and I️ hold her for a bit longer as we see a few more people exit the house
"I️ have to go inside"
"I'm coming"
We spend the next three hours cleaning the house. It's spotless when we are done. Cleaner then before the party
"Thank you for staying to help" she says softly
"You think I'd leave this for you do alone" I️ say
"Sorry I'm new at this 'someone cares about me' thing" she says
"It's ok. You'll get used to I️t"
"Do you wanna just stay over. It's 4am anyway"
"Yea are you sure"
"Of course"
We go upstairs into her room and lock the door so her mom won't barge in and say something rude
She gives me one of her t shirts and a pair of her shorts
I️ take my shirt off and I️ see her look over at me
"Where's your serpent tattoo" she says smiling
"My tattoo?"
"Yea. Don't you all have them"
"Well yea. I️ got mine when I️ was thirteen. Kind of young I️ know but my uncle insisted I️ join young"
My tattoo is on the outside of my upper left thigh. I️ pull my pants down to reveal where I️t is
"It's kind of shitty since I️ was thirteen and squirming the whole time. I️ don't even know why I️ put I️t here. I️t looks stupid"
She giggles
"It's cute" she says
"It's a snake"
"It's still cute"
"So what's I️t like being in a gang" she says changing her cloths. I'm kind of distracted to answer the question
"Hey eyes up here" she says
"Sorry" I️ spit out
"I'm kidding I'm kidding" she says laughing "so what's I️t like" she asks again
"Well it's like a family you know. The serpents are like my brothers. I've known them even before I️ joined the gang. My dad was involved with them but he went to prison when I️ was seven. My mom was into drugs and she couldn't really take care of me, So fangs' dad took me in. I️ lived with them till I️ was fourteen. My dad got released and I️ lived with him for a while after. But we fight a lot so I'm kind of just bouncing around where I️ stay. I️ was at my uncles for a while but he never sticks anywhere for long" I️ say
"I️ didn't think I️t was that bad" she says softly
"It's not that bad" I️ say "it's life you know"
She puts her arm around me
"Well if you are gonna protect me I'm gonna protect you too ok" she says
"Ok" I️ giggle
We lay down and cuddle and talk about my life for a bit more
"So where's your mom now" Cheryl asks
"Beats me. She's been in and out of rehab for a while. Last time I️ heard from her was my fifteenth birthday. She sent me a card with five bucks in I️t. She wrote inside - toni, hope all I️t well. Hope dad is staying out of trouble. I️ know your in with the serpents. Please stay safe. And stay you - always , mom"
"She sounds a lot different then your dad"
"They were. Very. But they were really in love until dad was sent away. Mom couldn't forgive him. And he couldn't forgive her for choosing drugs over me. She left for rehab three weeks after he went to prison. She never visited him"
"I'm sorry"
"For what. My life isn't your fault" I️ chuckle
"No for always bombarding you with my problems when you already have your own"
"It's ok. I️t makes me feel more normal"

I'm the big spoon and she's the little spoon. We lay in silences. And wrap my hand around her until I️t meets her hand and we both fall asleep.
