It's Friday. The day of the spring formal. Don't ask me why they have a spring formal like 2 months before prom riverdale is just like that. Anyway my dress and Toni's suit looks amazing and I'm actually excited to enjoy a dance for once.
We sit at our usual table at lunch. Only this time Archie and Jughead sit with us. Kevin and Fangs come over too
"So Is the big pre party still at yours blossom" Fangs says
"It's not really a party but yes"
"Are you two coming" Toni says pointing at Archie and Jughead
"Yea I'll be there" Archie says
"No way. Serpents are protesting" Jughead says
Toni laughs and says "you mean your protesting. Fangs and me are going to the dance. So is sweetpea"
"Yea I'm protesting got a problem with that topaz" Jughead says more angry then before
"No I️ was just kidding Jughead you can do whatever you want"
"Your so soft now a days. You don't even want to fight for our territory cause you live in a castle now. I️ can't eve..."
I️ get up out of my seat and pull Jughead up by his arm
"Shut up now" I️ say
I️ pulls away from my grip and walks over to another table. I️ sit back down and try to get back to where we were
"I'm sorry about that" Toni says
"It's fine"
We spend the rest of lunch talking about the formal tonight. Veronica decided to go with Reggie and Archie asked Betty to go with him. As friends (with Veronica's approval of course) Kevin and fangs were obviously taking eachother. I told Toni to invite sweetpea and whoever he's bringing to the pre party.
After lunch I️ head to algebra. Five minutes in I'm already bored since I️ know what we are learning, so I️ decide to text Toni

I️ spend the rest of my class dreaming of tonight. You might think a dance seems stupid. But it's the first I'm going to where I'm not trying to cause trouble. I️ just want to have fun.
