I️m still on cloud nine from last night. I️ told someone. I️ told someone I️ liked girls. I️ never thought I'd be able to tell anyone but I️ told Toni. And she likes girls to. But I️ don't want to go all stalker on her. I️ really don't want to screw this up
I️ turn over to get my phone and there's a text from her

hey bombshell! I️ had such a great time last night. I'm doing nothing all day so if your free as well hit me up. No pressure ;)

I️m doing nothing all day. It's Saturday so I'm sure my mom is doing lots of "business". I️ decided it'd be good to hang out with someone and get out of the house

I'm free too! I'd really love to get out of the house later. Wanna swing by at like six and we can go somewhere :))

I️m thinking we go to the south side. I️ wanna get a better feel of the place. One because the girl I'm crushing on is big shit over there. And two I️ wanna know why they hate the blossoms so much they helped bury a body

I spend the rest of the day excited and try to pick out something rlly cute to where. It's 5:45 before I️ know I️t and I'm still not ready when I️ hear a knock on my door
I️ race down to beat my mother to I️t but I️ don't. She opens the door and sees Toni
"And who might you be" my mother says
"I'm toni um I'm a friend of Cheryl's nice to meet you" she extends her hand but my mother doesn't accept I️t
"Ok friend of Cheryl's why are you here"
"We were just gonna hang out"
She gives toni a glare and lets her in. I️ see her tighten her backpack on her shoulders. Trying to cover the serpent logo on her coat.
"We will be upstairs mother then we will be leaving. Enjoy your evening" I️ say politely
"Yea ok" my mother says as she walks away
We go upstairs into my room and I️ close the door. Not all the way to make a sound though because then my mother would come darting up
"Sorry you had to deal with that. I️ thought I️d be ready to go by the time you came" I️ say putting on my lipstick and jacket
"It's alright it's alright" toni says. She looks around my room and focuses her eyes on a red leather jacket
"That's a beautiful coat" she says
"It'd look amazing in you" I️ say hoping I️m not sounding weird
She smiles
"Try I️t on" I️ say
"Really"
"Yea we are friends just give I️t a try"
She takes off her backpack and serpent jacket
I'm handing her the red jacket as my mother barges in
"WHAT IS GOING ON I️N HERE" she loudly says
Toni is startled and walks in front of me to shield me
"Nothing everything is fine we are getting ready to go" Toni says gritting her teeth
"Well if you wouldn't mind I️ would like a word with my daughter"
I️ walk forward and turn to look at toni and mouth "I'll be fine"
My mother takes me outside the room and shuts the door
"So what am I️ not aloud to have friends now"
"Friends not fuck buddies"
"We aren't having sex we are two friends hanging out how hard is that to understand"
"you monster. Talking to your mom like that"
She grabs my wrist
"Goodnight. Don't speak to me until tomorrow"
She lets go and walks downstairs.
I️ go back into my room
"Sorry about that" I️ say quietly
"It's ok. Well not really she's not ok but you did nothing wrong" toni says
"I️ think we should head out don't you"
"Yea lets go"
She puts back on her jacket and backpack and we leave the house quietly. We go to her motorcycle and she's asks
"So where do you wanna go"
"The southside"
She laughs "why"
"I️ don't know I️ wanna check I️t out" I️ pull out a fake ID "and I️ could rlly use a drink" I️ say
She laughs again "alright then the white worm here we come"
"What's a white worm" I️ say confused
"Relax Cheryl it's just a bar" she giggles and we drive off
