"He's useless!" Allura's voice echoed throughout the control room.

"Allura!" Keith glared at the princess, obviously upset about her outburst. The princess only responded with an irritated sigh, as she avoided his death glare.

"I don't care what you all have to say, but lance has to go. He's no use to us, and he's a bother."Allura muttered under her breath.

"I agree. Allura is fully capable of flying the blue lion, and she gets things done. Lance on the other hand is the complete opposite. He never takes things serious, always joking around during a mission." Shiro said as he rested his hand on the princesses shoulder."Yeah, but who'll fly the castle?" Hunk asked, shifting his gaze from the floor to Shiro. Pidge immediately piped up already knowing the answer to the simple question. "Coran. Who else?"

Keith sighed. They were always mistreating lance. What's the point in making fun of someone when your in the middle of an intergalactic space war? Yes, Keith and Lance always fight and argue, but it's usually to break some of the tension during missions. Keith always wondered what they gained from being disrespectful to someone who didn't do nothing wrong. Was it fun or something? Keith may be Lance's rival, but he would never go behind his back and talk bad about him.

"Keith, what do you think?" The boy startled hearing his name, and glanced to whoever was talking to him. He raised an eyebrow, not really knowing what was asked. Mainly due to him not paying any attention. "Think about what?" Allura let out an irritated sigh, shaking her head.

"About the plan, Keith!"

Lance sighed. They had just landed on planet Arrákiz, and Lance was sitting on top of blues head. "Hey blue, do you think I'm a good paladin?" His gaze flicked from his feet to the stars above him. He had told the others that he was going out to look at the stars for a bit, but ended up staying out for about 3 hours, just babbling to blue, like she could respond with actual words.

Lance felt blue's comforting rumbles underneath him. It felt like she was purring, and it always made lance smile. Except for now. Shiro had just yelled at him for trying to help pidge with her tech. He honestly didn't do anything wrong. He knew what to do, it was pretty easy. Double modulating wasn't that hard, and was nothing to fuss over. He just wanted to help.

"Lance come and bring the blue lion back to the castle. We're going to explore this planet on foot." Lance startled at the sudden voice, but didn't move. "Now, Lance." Shiro commanded. Lance really didn't want to move, but he got up anyway. He wasn't in the mood to get yelled at again.

The planet was quite diffrent than what Lance had seen before. The soil was like earth, but with a pink tint. The planet itself looked a dark purple from space-Pidge said it was because of the thick atmosphere or something, lance wasn't paying much attention. Rivers with purple water flowed around fancy looking huts. The citizens were unlike anything he'd ever seen before. Colorful skin with beautiful markings covering their bodies. They had small spots of different colors that littered their arms, too. They were all about the height of pidge, with beautiful amethyst eyes. Lance smiled as he ran ahead of the paladins, wanting to explore more up close.

"Are we gonna speak with the Arrázans while we're here?" Pidge asked, as she sped her pace so she could walk next to shiro. "No. They're not in any danger, so they'll be ok." Shiro suddenly stopped, surprising Pidge and Hunk. "What's wrong?" She peered up at him, patiently waiting for a response. "Let's go." And with that, he turned around and started heading towards the castle. "Wait, where's Keith?" Hunk glanced around, looking for the red paladin. "He's in the castle, he didn't want to come." Hunk brought his gaze to Shiro, and frowned. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" For a moment, everyone was silent. Like they were afraid to speak.
