Part 31: Darkness Awoken

(F/n) P.O.V

There you were. A gigantic dragon encased in emeralds. You towered above everything. You roared as everyone trembled before you. Everyone but Ophis. You let out a huge beam if energy that was directed at Ophis and it quickly consumed her. You began to rampage around the area until the entire fleet of Old Devils and Magicians were dead. You were about to step on Vali but was met with a black ball of energy to the face as it made you stagger back. The dust settled and Ophis was fine. You charged up another blast but got hit in the gut with another energy ball. You were still able to shoot the beam and get a direct hit but it didn't matter as she soon deflected it back at you. It hit you directly in the face as you roared in anger. Your ki flared and it was huge. She flew up to your eye level and put her hand outward.

Ophis: Ya know, for a Dragon God, you were actually one of the strongest ones I've met. Too bad you haven't mastered this yet. It's not even your strongest form either. Maybe after some training, you can stand up to me. Maybe.

You rushed forward and went to eat her but she blasted a huge burst of energy right under your jaw.

Knocking you out.

You fell to the floor as you transformed back into your normal state. Everyone was shocked by the fact that you had finally been defeated. Rias and the others went to come help you but Kuroka swooped by and snatched up your unconscious body.

Kuroka: Ophis I got him let's get out of here!

Ophis: Alright I'll get Vali.

She transported You, Kuroka, Vali, and herself back to base.

Location: Khaos Brigade Base

You woke up to be in a different bed with a magic circle floating over your chest. You noticed it was Kuroka's and went to get up but felt the weight of someone. You lifted the covers and it was Kuroka. She woke up due to your sudden movement but flashed a warm smile and laid back on your chest. You felt very weak and began to remember what had happened. After realizing where you were you went to get up but Kuroka stopped you.

Kuroka: Just take it easy for a minute. I'm not ready to get up yet.

You went to force your way out but you couldn't muster up enough strength to overpower Kuroka's grip.

Kuroka: You really shouldn't. You see this little circle here? That's a power restraint. Your about as strong as a normal human right now.

(F/n): What?

Kuroka: I have plans with you so I'll need to rest a little longer for it. So since you can't defy me, just follow my orders for now 'kay?

She came up to your face and kissed you on the cheek and laid you back down as she found her comfort spot on you again. You felt so weak that you eventually drifted back to sleep. Before you knew it, Kuroka was waking you up as she was fully dressed.

Kuroka: Alright sleepy head let's go. We have some matters to take care of.

She winked at you and laid some black armor and a mask on the foot of the bed. She walked out of the room and left you to get changed. You put the armor on and questioned the situation you were in. You came out with the mask on your waist as you saw Vali leaning up against the wall.

Vali: You ready?

(F/n): ...

Vali: I'm gonna go ahead and guess so. Follow me.
