By the time I caught up with Aurora, she was at the dark and empty solar panel factory without finding any trace of my father. Only the moonlight, that came in from the windows, showed a bit of light to the nothingness. Everything had been stolen.

"It was the same, when I got here," said Aurora. "They sure worked fast."

"But why would anybody need all this stuff? Not just the solar panels, but also the machines to make them?"

"Probably because now they don't have to steal any more panels, they can just make their own. What I still don't get is how they got all those things out of here so fast. These machines are huge."

"Maybe they didn't get far then." I teleported myself on the roof of the building, but it was dark and there were no street lights around, so I couldn't really see anything. Couldn't hear anything either. A machine, that they needed to remove all the things, should have made a lot of noise, because it had to be big.

"Do you think they maybe used a plane or a helicopter?" asked Aurora once I got back to her inside.

"They still needed something to drag the machines outside."

"I don't think so actually." We were now in the factory's control room. Aurora pressed a button and with a lot of noise the entire roof just slid to the sides.

"How did you know it could do that?"

"It said "roof" on the button." I guess the solar panel factory had to have something to test out, if their panels actually worked.

"But how come it works, when the factory has been shut off for the night?"

"Don't know, I guess the lights are the only things off. We have to go now - the police are here." We could hear the sirens coming towards us and got out of the way.

It was all over the news the next day. The factory was now closed down. Losing all those machines cost the owner billions. At least that is what he said in the news, he added that whoever had any idea about how to find my dad will be greatly reworded.

There had also been a security guard in the building, who had been knocked out during the robbery and didn't see a thing, since he had been locked in a supply room. We should have checked that out with Aurora, but now we were just glad, that he was okay.

"So, we know your dad is behind this," said Aurora, "but we have no idea, what he's planning."

"I'm not even sure, that it is her dad anymore," said Patrick.

"Why not?" I asked. It was totally obvious on the security tapes, that he was the mastermind behind it.

"It could have been an imposter. Your father likes to do things big and always make sure, that everybody knows he was the one behind it, but until now he has been keeping things pretty quiet."

"Because he is planning for a big finally and can't have his plans ruined before that happens," I explained.

"If you say so." He still wasn't convinced.

"Dadaaa," said Alice and came in with a mannequin wearing a superhero costume. "I made this for you. What do you think?" she asked me with a smile. I don't think I had ever seen her smile before, it was kind of strange. I never would have thought, that she would be happy about making something for me.

I was actually speechless. I thought she would make me some stupid costume with tights and bright colors, but this costume didn't look silly at all. It was actually something, that I was totally willing to wear. It was with black and dark blue colors and it wasn't a one piece.
