Thank fuck she finally decided to come home with us. I don't know how much longer I could have stayed around all these fuckwad humans before I lost my everloving shit on someone, likely Owen. Besides all this pollution and shit in the human city is really fucking with my hair, I'll have to have everyone deep condition for days just to repair the damage. Fucking humans, fucking smog, fucking...fuck.
Right now we're currently packing up the boys' room, save for the clothes and toys they'll put in backpacks to have on hand for the trip. I never knew there were so many types of toy trucks, but I do now and I believe that information just took up important space in my head that I'll never get back. Oh well.
I look back at little O-Man where he and North are in deep discussion about cars and trucks, currently they're debating the pros and cons of monster trucks while North disassembles his racecar bed. Begrudgingly I can admit the thing is pretty cool, I may even let him keep it after I pimp it the fuck out once we get it in his new room. Ideas of race flags and streets painted on walls fly through my head as I mentally design his room, the other two are already figured out. Jamie is all about books, music and quiet so he'll have a perfect studio sanctuary, whereas Cam's room will be all kick ass skateboard paradise perfect for the moody little pre-teen.
"But they're the awesomest!" Ollie's shout draws my attention back to their debate, and I can see North trying not to laugh at the mini monster. He ditched his shirt and shorts for a cape earlier so now he's standing there, glaring at North, in nothing but Spider Man tighty whities and a bright red cape. Sang chose her battles today, and his clothes were not going to be one of them, to be honest it's fucking funny as shit, none of us care, even got Owen to do that millimeter smile thing he does.
From behind me, I hear Nathan and Luke sniggering to themselves, and soon I am as well, receiving a glare from our resident metal bender. Turning back to the huffy four year old, North tries to explain why awesomeness does not make up for poor gas mileage and impractical sized vehicles, but the kid's just not having any of it.
"I don't care about gas! There's enough farts in me, so it doesn't matter!" Sean walks by the door then and has to lean on the doorjamb so he doesn't fall over from how hard he's laughing.
"Not that kind of gas, little man, the kind you get at a gas station that costs money." North grunts out, and I'm impressed as fuck he's held in the laughter so far.
Ollie frowns, his brows furrowed in confusion as he ponders that. "Well that's stupid," he grumbles and we all nod in agreement. That's another thing humans suffer that Solexion communities don't, all the energy consumption problems with fossil fuels and pollution and shit; our society run entirely on pure elemental energy, the same source that runs through our veins, it's what gives us our abilities and runs our world, an entirely renewable and fucking inexhaustible resource.
"You're right, it is stupid," North nods sagely.
"They're still the awesomest though!" Ollie stands his ground once more, and at this point we've finished with his room and are simply fucking enjoying their little back and forth.
"Well what about how big they are, it would be pretty hard to drive a monster truck through traffic, you could hurt someone." He looks triumphant, obviously assuming that there's no way his four year old brain could come up with a counterargument for that and I exchange knowing glances with the other guys. If I've learned anything these past few weeks in this godforsaken city, it's not to fucking underestimate anyone in this little family, they're all fucking geniuses, evil ones at that.
