Chapter 21: Part two

“HARRY!” Somebody screamed my name, but I really didn’t feel like getting out of bed so I buried my head under my pillow.

“HARRY!” This time it came out as a shriek, I sat up in bed and threw the covers on the floor. I walked out of the room and into the kitchen of the hotel room where the noise had come from. We were almost done with the tour, thank goodness. We only had two weeks left and then we could go back home. I hope Rose and I can get our own flat together, it would be great!  I walked into the kitchen and the sight I saw made me laugh, Rose was on top of the counter holding onto the beam that held up the wall. There was flour everywhere and Rose was caked in it.

I chuckled to myself at the surroundings, “Rose? What happened?”

“There is a rat!” She made a disgusted face and looked at me right in the eye. “We are leaving today right?”

“Ya, tomorrow morning.”

She did a little dance on the counter, but refused to get down.

“What were you making anyways?”

“I wanted to make you guy’s cookies for all your good work and great job on making it this far, but then I saw that…” she made a face. “That…rat!”     

       “That’s very nice of you, why don’t you say we finish them up. I’m sure you scared the rat away with your screeching.” She glared at me as I pulled her off the counter and onto the floor. We walked over to the opposite counter and started to finish making the cookies. I pulled the cookies out of the oven as Rose grabbed the icing.

“What design do you want to put on them? We could do 1D or all of your initials.”

“How about both?”

“Sounds good!” We started icing the cookies and putting the designs on. I was writing on my cookies when I felt something slash across my cheek. I looked at Rose, she was holding icing in her hand and giggling.

“Oh that’s it!” I went to grab some icing on my hand when Rose put more icing on my face, this time she got it on nose. I flicked the icing at her and got it all over her. I chuckled to myself and finished scribbling on my cookies. She ran up to me and hugged me getting icing all over me, I glared at her and she only giggled. I looked at the clock, five o’clock already; we had to be at the concert at six!

“It’s already five o’clock! We have to be at the concert in an hour!” Rose grabbed a dish and we put the cookies on them and wrapped them up. After that Rose and I both ran to the bathroom fighting over who should get to take a shower first.

“I will.” We both said in unison.

“I will.” I repeated.

“Nope I am!” She stuck her tongue out at me.

“Nope! Me!”

“Why don’t we just go in together since we have to get there soon, we are all caked in cookie stuff. Plus we love each other!” She gave me a kiss and skipped into the bathroom.
