Lance had thought that maybe, just maybe, his imagination could stop being crazy and his life could go back to normal. Of course, that didn't happen.

Shortly after he'd started at Galaxy Garrison, a space exploration program, was the night his life would change.

He'd thought that he, Pidge, and Hunk needed to go to the town, for some team bonding. Only, as he was sneaking out with a whiny Hunk, he saw Pidge sneak from his room to the roof.

"Do you come here to rock out?" Lance asked as he pulled on Pidge's headphones. Pidge squealed in surprise.

"They keep repeating one word, "Voltron" and tonight it's going crazier than I have ever heard it."

Voltron. The word sent a jolt through Lance. "How crazy?" He felt like he was going to hyperventilate, but it didn't show at all.

Then it happened, the ship, Shiro on the camera. The explosions.

Suddenly, he saw the aura.

Lance had always been able to see auras around people. They showed their inner thoughts and feelings. They also showed their personality. He remembered almost all of them.

The one he remembered the most, the one that stood out to him, the only one that reacted to Lance's. Keith's aura. "Keith!" He called, heart pounding.

"Are you sure?" Hunk called as Lance began to run. "I would know that mullet anywhere!" Lance lied, running as fast as he could. Anything to get to the boy with the magic aura.

(Another time skip to when Lance meets Blue)

Lance touched one of the lions with interest. A blue light spread from it. He let out a small yelp as the ground opened up beneath him, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, and Keith.

Once they made it to the bottom of the cavern, Lance saw the blue lion. "Does anyone else get the feeling it's eyes are watching you?" He said it with seriousness, but no one took him seriously.

"How do we get through this?" Keith asked, looking confused. "Maybe you just have to knock," Lance suggested, rapping his fist on the force field twice.

Suddenly, it disappeared and the group was treated to a vision of an extremely powerful fighter robot. Lance's visions went further though. He could see the girl with the white hair, and a man who seemed to be related to her. He could also see a ginger man with a large, bushy, mustache.

But then it was gone. And everyone was yelling about Voltron.

The lion opened it's mouth, letting Lance inside. He sat inside it and could hear the lion purr. His whole mind opened up to it.

He pulled some levers, and the lion flew out of the cavern, crashing through the rock. Lance laughed, "WOOHOO!" He called out.

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" "I can't. It's like it's on autopilot."

"Where are you going?" Keith was gripping Lance's chair much too hard. "I said it's on autopilot! It says there's an alien ship approaching earth! I think we're supposed to stop it."

"Why don't we just hand them the lion?" Hunk suggested.

"You don't understand." Shiro interrupted, "These things spread like a plague throughout the galaxy, destroying everything in their path."

"I think it's time to get these guys away from our planet," Lance said, determined. "They're gaining on us!" Pidge warned. "It's weird," Lance murmured, "They're not trying to shoot us, they're just chasing."

"Okay, seriously, now we think having aliens follow us is good? I am not on board with this new direction, guys." Hunk said, quickly and anxiously.

"Where are we?" "The edge of the solar system, that's Kerberos." Shiro gasped. "It takes months for our ships to get out here! We got here in five seconds!" Pidge gushed, her eyes wide.

Blue hummed in Lance's ear. He knew what he had to do. I need to take us home...

He concentrated with all his strength and felt a warmth bloom in his chest. A wormhole opened in front of the lion. Lance gasped, exhausted, and they flew through the new portal.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I finally managed to write one kind of long! Sorry if there are some mistakes, I couldn't have my friend check it. Although, I did use a grammar checker. I'm gonna try to get at least a chapter out tomorrow. ("I'm gonna keep a good pace," I say to myself. "No, you're not." My common sense replies) Yeah, sorry about that. I'll try to get at least one chapter out a week, usually more.
