(Lance POV)

Lance had just defeated a huge ship filled with evil aliens. He had done it while inside a giant robot. He had also done it with his team, and all of them were exhausted.

Despite this, first thing next morning they were sent to train. Lance hated, hated the invisible maze. He hated having to rely on others, and that was exactly what it was.

He was extremely relieved when they moved on, placing the visors on their heads. Lance looked at the other's screens, Hunk was thinking of food (of course), Keith was thinking of his shack, Shiro of the Galra, and Pidge of their 'girlfriend'.

Lance looked up to see Allura spectating. He couldn't focus on his lion. All he could think about were the strange dreams.

Suddenly, Lance was consumed by a different dream.

A woman was holding baby Lance. He cooed up at her. She was obviously sick, with dark bags under her deep blue eyes. Her hair was a light brown. "Momma!" Lance gurgled at the woman.

"Lance..." She whispered hoarsely. "I'm sorry I won't be there to watch you grow, my little one."

The girl from Lance's previous dream was kneeling to the side of the bed, sobbing softly. The woman who was holding him sighed softly.

She kissed his forehead before handing him to the girl.

"I will see you again in your dreams, my treasure."

(Allura POV)

Coran was trying to convince Allura. "He had a vision of your mother! A real scene! You were in it!" "I saw!" She snapped.

"I just... I refuse to believe that a human boy is my lost brother! He doesn't have Altean markings, or ears! Why should I believe that he's my Lance?"

"Because you know that Alteans can hide their true form. What if he hid it at a young age, and just forgot that he wasn't human?"

"It wouldn't explain his age!" Allura was trying so hard, to believe that Lance wasn't her brother.

"It could've taken him almost 10,000 years in space before he made it to Earth." Coran pointed out, beginning to get upset with her.

"I'll believe it when I see markings or pointy ears." She said firmly, leaving Coran looking frustrated behind her.

(Lance's POV)

Lance was terrified when the blue streaks reappeared. That night, he dreamt of his vision from training that day, and when he awoke, they were back. Lance gasped and tried to make them go away, but they wouldn't.

He resolved to find some sort of makeup. Of course, no makeup could be found. He felt himself crying, unsure of what to do.

He looked in the mirror and saw his ears. They were pointy, like an elf. Luckily, if he concentrated enough, he could make them turn normal.

With nowhere else to turn, Lance ran to Shiro's room. He knocked on the door frantically. "Shiro!" He hissed.

The door opened to a groggy looking man with a white tuft of hair. "What is it, Lance?" Shiro rubbed his eyes.

"Look at me, Shiro!" The man's eyes went wide. "T- Those are Altean markings!" "I know, I have to get rid of them! Or at least cover them up!" Lance gasped.

"I have makeup... Come in."

That was how Lance began his coverup.
