Skylar Kennedy is a 17 year old, shy girl. Everyday she visits her favourite café on the corner of her favourite street filled with book stores in Los Angeles. No one would speak to her and she would sit happily in a booth next to a window listening...
*Skylar's pov* Daniel and I both stare at Joe with wide eyes. Unsure of how to react. "Joe...it has always been Daniel" I frown "He hurt you and broke you and left you in the gutter but you go back to him" Joe growls and I flinch "Joseph this is my choice not yours" I stand up wiping the tears away from under my eyes "Oh shut the fuck up Skylar. We all know you and him are gonna get together and then I will have to stitch you back up when he breaks you again" Joe shakes his head "Joseph" I turn and see Zoella with her arms crossed as she glares at her younger brother "Go away Zoella" Joe snarls at her "It's her choice what she does with her life Joe. If she wants to be with him let her be" Zoe walks forward grabbing his arm "He is going to hurt her" Joe pulls his arm away "I have never felt more serious about how I feel then what I said two minutes ago to her Joe" Daniel stands up grabbing my hand "See Joe she is in good hands" Zoe tries to drag Joe away but he was like stone. "No she isn't" he snarls and steps forward "No no no" Zoe jumps on his back and pulls the hood of his jumper over his head. She grabs the string and tightens it blinding Joe and he tarts swinging around. "Go!" She yells and gets smashed into the wall "Zoe" I yell her Daniel lifts me into his arms and runs and I watch Zoe tackle Joe to the ground with a massive grin in her face. Daniel shoves me into the passenger seat and then dives over me into the drivers seat. He speeds away from the little store and drives back to the house. "I think I need to go back home" I whisper as he pulls up in front of his house "Why?" Daniel frowns and looks at me "My parents will be worried Daniel...they may be assholes but they still worry" I look at my hands "Just know Sky that man in that house you call home...he raped you when you were a little girl...a helpless little girl. I don't want him hurting you" Daniel grabs my hand "I know" I nod my head slowly "Just please...don't ignore me...talk to me...if anything happens just send a little text saying help and I will be there in a split second to save you" he runs a hand though his hair "I know and I promise..I will come back" I murmur He pulls me into his lap and hugs me and then I climb back into my seat. He drives me to my home and then the car stops indicating we have arrived. The lights were still on and I realise it's been a couple of weeks since I stepped foot into this house. "You sure you want to do this?" Daniel squeezes my thigh "Yes" I nod and he gives me a tight smile We climb out and then he rushes to my side pulling me into his arms. "Make sure you text me" he murmurs into my hair "I will I promise" I smile into the crook of his neck and then I pull away "I'll see you soon Skylar" he smiles and kisses my forehead before getting back in the car I walk up to the door and try to open it and to my luck it was unlocked. I step in and close the door quietly. "We need to get her back Mark...she's our little baby" I hear sobbing "I know honey...I feel so bad for what I did to her...but we need to wait for her to come back" "Mark what did you do?" "Oh...uh nothing don't worry" I walk to my room and see my mother on my bed with her face in her hands while my father is at my window staring into the darkness as if he is looking for me. "Mum?" I whisper "SKYLAR" She lets out a sob and hugs me tightly "I thought someone hurt you" Dad runs over and wraps his arms around the both of us I melt into their arms and I feel my phone vibrate. "We are so sorry for how we treated you baby" Mum puts a hand on my cheek "It's fine....can I go to bed now? I remember the day I took this photo for him. We were all out shopping andhe was busy chewing on his hubba bubba so I took the photo as he blew the bubble. I close my eyes remembering exactly everything. *flashback* I watch as Daniel chews his hubba bubba with a smirk on his face. My fingers were intwined with his and everyone was running around making fools of themselves. Daniel starts to blow a bubble so I dart in front of him and take the photo and then Zach runs through poking the bubble with his finger and Daniel's face drops. "ZACH" he chases Zach around the store and then Jack appears beside me. "So Kayla and I have been talking a lot lately....I just don't know how to ask her on a date" he blushes "Oh noodles just ask her....she likes you too" I smile even though I just violated our girl code "Hey Sky watch this" Corbyn grabs a ball and then rolls it along the ground and I frown but then Zach runs through slipping on the ball and landing on his butt. Everyone starts laughing while Zach groans on the ground. "Hey beautiful" arms wrap around my neck and I smile "Hey handsome" I flip so my face was in his chest and he chuckles pressing his lips to my forehead *end flashback* I let out a light sob and sink on to my bed. I pull the covers up and sob into my pillow wishing I decided to stay with him.
